That never stopped Igbos success, it's not ighos they kill more in Nigeria by bandits, it's the brothers of gowon, middle belt, and the southwest monarchs, clear your self of hate, apply forgiveness if needed and seek progressiveness.... Am in Yoruba land and married to Yoruba woman, I dey run my Business here no problems so one Nigeria doesn't stop me from progressing, na the whole country go dey backward bro Two wrongs does not make a right Okonsbecky: |

Okonsbecky:Nnamdi Azikiwe and Ironsi did a grave mistake, and na them make us dey suffer this one Nigeria. They shouldn't have even have anything to do with one Nigeria then. Another person that is regretting is Yakubu Gowon, the one Nigeria he fought to keep together is kpaing his people aimlessly in the middle belt. It's better we correct their mistakes now before it's too late. |

attackgat:IPOB’s statement welds US comments to its long‑standing demand for a referendum—framing self‑determination as the peaceful answer to insecurity and marginalisation in the South‑East. Politically, that call bumps against Abuja’s firm line on unity and the constitution, so international attention raises volume more than it changes policy. The real signal is local: grievances about safety and representation keep fueling agitation. Government moves that address those gaps—credible security, inclusion in governance, and open dialogue—would undercut the appeal of outside endorsements far more than any rebuttal. |

Moveittothem:Hold on bros this lie has to stop forthwith. Zik didn't make any mistake. If anything would be acknowledged as a mistake it was the fact that we weren't ready at thst time. The british created a trap in Lancaster and everyone(Awo inclusive fell for it). In the independence talks in Lancaster in 1956, the british made all the delegates to that talk to sign a document that as a preconditiom for independence, the borders of colonial Nigeria must not be redrawn. That was the first mistake because the british wanted Nigeria to remain as it is because of the french and communist interests in Africa at that time, mind you Nigeria was britain's richest colony after India. As for Ironsi the lie on unitary decree is already becoming stale because Ironsi altered the arrangement of the civil service with the unitary decree by centralizing it, he didn't abolish the regions but change the name from region to a collection of provinces to be managed by a provincial administrator. Again it is worthy to note that what ever put us in this current mess is Gowon's decree 8 which centralized the revenues from all regions to shared back to them based on a revenue sharing formula. He did this to ensure that Ojukwu doesn't lay hands on oil revenues at that time, and he never bothered to reverse tge decision after the war. It is also pertinent to note that at the time of Ironsi's death we still had regions under the control of Military governors. 1. Hassan Katsina(North) 2. Fajuyi(West) 3. Ejoor(MidWest) 4. Ojukwu(East) |
