The policies f Tinubu are there for people to see, Imagine 3yrs without extensive ASUU strike.

Imagine a president who removed subsidy
Egbon no talk about that subsidy removal again. If I tell you what percentage of my salary I spend on transport currently you, you won't believe.

That subsidy removal is a net negative on this administration and it's the genesis of most of what we are currently battling.

Without the subsidy removal, there would have been no salary to pay according to Governor Obaseki before Tinubu entered office

That is why every Governor is thankful that this admin removed subsidy

Ok let's say he government has no choice than to remove the subsidy, what has the government done to improve the life of the people? What policy have they implemented to cushion the effects of this subsidy removal? It's been 3yrs and there's nothing to show for it other than massive inflation, more poverty and the continued luxurious life of the political elite.

I believed and trusted in Tinubu, it has been nothing but utter disappointment. Disappointment is even an understatement.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️– The New York Times reports that Iran has largely succeeded in destroying 13 U.S. military bases in the Middle East.

Since the Japanese Empire during World War II, no enemy has been this successful in simultaneously attacking this many U.S. military bases.

When you are ready, you will debate without emotions.

When Africans of Sudan and SubSaharan Africa (us) were selling our kin to the Arabs in the 7th Century and earlier, Europeans were no part of it – it was wholly your forebears selling their kin to the Arabs.
Are you going to blame the Europeans too? Heck! And the trade continued vis-a-vis the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

If you can prove the Europeans were a part of it then and your forebears weren't the ones selling their kind, I will deactivate this minute, never to return to Nairaland . The Europeans were even victims of the Arab Slave Trade too.

For centuries, your forebears sold their kin and the Europeans arrived in the 15th and 16th Century on the West African coast. And what did your fathers do when they craved the mirrors the Europeans had? They thought exchanging humans for these items were a fair bargain.

One day, you will learn to spend hours daily reading far, wide and wild because you crave knowledge which isn't promoted conventionally. When that day comes, you'll be free of the shackles of waiting for your thought leaders to shape your opinions.

When you are ready, put your account on the line like I have put mine and let's debate with links and pictures to booth.

I am the one who has done the documentary on such things, mentioning exact places. I'm the one stating our forebears are responsible because the evidence of such still lie as monuments in my hometown, in Badagry, in Guinea, in Ghana...

Still waiting for you to put your account on the line.

🇺🇸 🆚🇮🇷⚡️– BREAKING: Pentagon reports that the aircraft carrier Ford is facing problems much deeper than just the incidents of fire and laundry room.

There are concerns about the capabilities of the Ford aircraft carrier's systems, especially the aircraft launch system and radars.

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m):
When the Europeans properly colonialised Western Africa and established governments, they chose their slave business partners (the kings, chiefs and warlords) for indirect rule.

Then they chose warrant chiefs from amongst them. The kids of the warrant chiefs got scholarships and juicy positions.

Those were the most powerful men of the 1800s and early 1900s.

That bloodline of warrant chiefs became the politicians of the 1940s and 1960s.

I know one of the descendants whose whole bloodline when retraced were judges and senators. And when you go farther, warrant chiefs. Go find out how warrant chiefs were chosen – it wasn't for everyone.
I can't even mention him because I was asked not to to avoid needless rancour.

Tomorrow, one of their descendants will demand reparations from the West when the generational wealth and prestige he enjoys date back to slavery.

Have you bothered to do the genealogical tracing of these people or you're just reactionary like you always do, thinking this is one of those fleeting issues debated on Nairaland?

You need to have your héad checked.

Chairman even if we are to look at it

Trans Saharan slavery went on for 1000yrs before the Atlantic slavery
The Trans Saharan slavery took way more people than Atlantic
Atlantic slavery was abolished about 100yrs ago, the Saharan slavery still goes on TILL TODAAY

Below is a slave market in Libya recently. Video taken around 2017 when most of us here were already adults

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S2qtGisT34

If you are not upset about what is happening to people of your skin color TODAY but the one that upset you is the one that happened before you were born, before your father was born then you are intellectually dishonest and needlessly emotional

Its like me seeing killing in Nigeria, In my home state to people I know but I am more upset about killing in Ukraine, Iran, Gaza and Chile

Many of them are only just finding out there's anything like the Arab Slave Trade today. There are intellectuals who are actually very good in their fields I had to point out these things to, and they were surprised. Most people aren't invested in research beyond their academic fields.

I guess it's true what they say about hiding things from Black men by inscribing them in books.
And today, attention span has dropped lower than 8 seconds – lower than a cuttlefish. A cûttlefish can focus more than many humans today. It's why most wait for summaries of world issues by CNN with an agenda hence they are teleprogrammed.

The Charlie Kirk debate here is proof most people don't do their own research.

Remember that viral image of Apostle Suleiman kneeling in front of a large screen projection of the map of Ukraine in early 2022 on the altar to pray while never doing same for Nigeria? Yeah.
