There could be other factors responsible. Except factors such as income and health status are controlled or kept constant, it would be too rash to conclude that the change was the function of divorce. On the other hand if this dramatic positive change in the man's outlook results from divorce, then he was actually living in hell in the name of marriage and I congratulate him for running for his life

I know of two ladies who were so beautiful and animated before marriage, but during marriage they became like dried fish and so ugly to look at.Both of them married the same man.
The first wife divorced but after some months came around,and behold, someone who looked like a refugee when married now looked like an angel from heaven.
The second one is still married to the man looking like someone that has AIDS and tuberculosis that isn't getting any treatment.., but in reality she has no illness

Marriage can take it's toll on people if they remain the sole provider with no emotional or material support.
