stop punching above your weight. Youtube is free and has lots of out-of-box features to moderate what goes into it. Let the heavy users create Youtube playlists instead and link them here. Maybe for short video.

the video in this link is not on youtube. i can download it, but i am not going to create a new youtube id so i can share videos on nairaland. i regularly come across videos i would like to share on platforms other than youtube.

An app for NL would be a great move. It would unlock a lot of useful features, like real-time notifications whenever you’re mentioned or tagged.

And finally, introducing comment upvotes. It might take some effort to implement, but it would be worth it. It would encourage people to contribute more thoughtful, high-value comments.

1. It's still difficult to change email for one's profile.

My email for this my profile needs changing, and I can't change it at all...I get sent to a 404 error page.

Hope that can be changed.

Number of things that will determine this may include how active, time spent , number of mentions, likes etc
It shouldn’t just be one factor that haters can vote against

All these are likely to make some people spent more time, log in more and less increase number of comments on a thread in some other ways, Thanks Sir.

It's a lie, Seun was all in with LP.

The only politician that did a question and answer session was Chinedu Gbadebo of LP

Do you think this is also a function of our politicians and their style? I know Obi used Twitter spaces etc, Tinubu preferred townhalls and things like that. Are our politicians stuck to the old style and this one decided to use NL and Seun obliged? Let me know what you think.

I think the site owner started out desperately wanting the site to be neutral then he threw himself in with Obidients.

I dont think Chinedu Gbadebo cared to use Nairaland particularly. In the end, he turned tail anyway and didn't even bother using the portal as he was focusing on abusing Ndi Yoruba on Twitter despite wanting their votes.

All I can ask is that he removes the anti spam bots and give back power to the mods and super mods abeg
