The way Iranian supreme leader & top military generals were eliminated should tell u Iran is no match for America at all. In war, airforce complement ground troops, if America tell u they are coming by land, know their air surveillance is already ahead. Either air or through sea ,it is of no consequence here, Iran is different from Libya. No one to defend Libya when the NATO came to Libya, the top general in Libya was a mole General Haftar , he betrayed Muammar el Ghaddafi and then there was already an uprising, but no uprising in Iran. Iranians are even more more united now and angered by intensification of Strikes by the US/Isreal.
That is where the game will change , i dont know what the US/Isreal will now say when they start bombing civilians they say they want to liberate from their so called oppressive regime.
This war will really expose them as the real hypocrites they are and their hidden agendas in the Middle East.

If I consider Iran's perspective, one reason why they will continue the war is to teach the US or Israel or any other country never to try what they have done so far again or think about it. It's what we call "try me if dem born you well" in Naija lingo. Trump will take more of the hit for this war because it is not a popular one among Americans and Congress will not sit to approve the Pentagon's request for funds until after Easter break. You can see that Trump has once again extended his 5 day break to 10 days. Iran has been waiting for this period for a long time, so instead of fighting the war, they are waiting for US to try them. Trump is looking for a way to pull out of the war.

What is worse than fighting a war is fighting an ideology. If you kill 1m of them, another 1m are already preformatted with the OS. This was a risky gamble by Trump. You never fight those who are not afraid of death. It has happened in Cambodia, Vietnam and places US occupied. War is not always about might.

This is not even about fighting an ideology. The troops the US are deploying are paratroopers (the US 82 airborne ) and US marines, the numbers are not enough to carry out a full invasion of a nation like Iran considering its size and terrain, we are talking about assymetric warfare. Marines and paratroopers are not trained for that, they are rapid response troops for special operations. Unless their mission is not a ground invasion of the country.

You like deluding yourselves, a military base can never be empty before it was attacked especially in countries like Qatar, Bahrain, UAE , Saudi etc They will evacuate to reduce casualties not empty ab initio.

We are not talking about Al-Bagram base in Aghanistan.
These are bases that have early warning systems and radar that Isreal also uses for military purposes.
American troops in those bases are now hiding in the cities and hotels across the Gulf.
There was live activity on those bases before the war because i track live satellite images,
there is huge damage to most of their radar systems now .The UAE itself has its own air defense system different from the ones on the US bases which are intercepting missiles and drones across UAE cities.

According to polls, this war is unpopular in the US, if there are US casualties in the war.:the party in power is dealt with through protests and polls.
Great nations have always fought great wars within their borders, the will to conquer their aggressors is what is needed.
If the Iranians had surrended since as a result of assasinating their political leaders, i would say these are not the real Persians i have read about in history. This civilization dates 3000BC. They built one of the largest empires in history, they are not going to surrender easily and they are going to inflict maximum damage to the US in terms of human lives and the economy. If this war drags on, like Ukraine -Russia. An energy crisis is going to hit California, most of their energy needs comes from the Asia Pacific and reserves there are running out. And california is not linked to the oil centres of Texas and Minnesota through pipelines.
