Why can Tinubu declare a state of emergency in these highly infested states and declare a special military operations against this terrorist.

Close all the borders and allow the Nigerian military to take total control of every operations going on in these states, combing every forest and every nooks and crannies of these states.

Any terrorist caught should be shoot to death at sight.

I know it will cause a massive disruption of daily activities but these guys are on conquest and won't stop until their aim is achieved and they should be treated as an invaders.

And for these guys to be taken care of and repelled, serious efforts are needed from the president and also the state government are expected to armed their forest guards and the village vigilantee to the teeth because they are the ones that will bear the full brunt of these terrorist before they invade any community or villages before the military men arrives.

But will corruption allow the government to do the needful?

The government is not taking pragmatic measures against the insecurity in the North, and it’s spreading gaining momentum. The terrorists have even more motivation than before to wreck havoc. Even the Northerners are not worried about it. They claim these people as their brothers.

Needless to say, I used to hold governor Zulum in high esteem but apparently, he is as useless as all the other governors in Nigeria. The long convoy of school buses that were bringing in thugs from Borno state into Abuja yesterday was to serve what purpose exactly? Those guys certainly weren't delegates. I mean the buses were chocked full of mostly shirtless young men that some of them were sitting on the roof of the bus. The governor can't say he wasn't aware that the states free school buses were used to import thousands of thugs into Abuja. If the guys I saw yesterday are what passes for 'delegates' from Borno state, that will be a shame. Then again, I forget that thuggery is a protected 'profession' under this government.

there's something that's confusing me about this Zulum man, I thought he has stayed beyond 8 years in office and no one seem to be complaining, he has been there since around 2014 or there about, because I could remember that he became Governor after the kidnap incident of Chibok girls, that time Borno was so hot and he was banking on the advantage of the security situation of that time promising to tackle the insecurity and restore normalcy, but attempted to tackle it wether sincerely or not, but they tried to assassinate him then. This man has been a Governor before Obiano, and Obiano has since finish his tenure, what is happening with these terrorists cum politicians in the North.

No smoke without fire. For 10 years, we have not been able to stop influx of people, guns, ammunitions and explosives from going through our borders. They haven't been smart enough to raid mosques and other worship centers were these extremists would likely be recruiting youths from, planning attacks and possibly hiding weaponry. These guys can't do much without access to weapons. Starve them of the weapons supply let's see if they can be brave enough to attack communities with just machetes
