Why? What is wrong with ASUU? Is the campus not still going to be under NUC regulations? |

Resist? As if ASUU can do anything about it |

This could be reviewed and the right decision made |

ASUU has a point. Perhaps they find a way to collaborate. |

mikuz:Ha! ASUU can actually do it if FG will have a stake in that university. But if it is wholly private then it will be insulated from ASUU. |

A lot is wrong with our leaders. Why establish such? Why not collaborate to have exchange programmes like back in the days? Will the fees be paid in naira or fx? We need to see the contents of this partnership. |

We need a revolution! China,Russia, French e.t.c all broke free from under development through revolution. Revolution is the complete overhaul and reset that we need as a nation. If there's no resolution through revolution, there's going to be a violent balkanization. Fragmenting Nigeria will result to smaller, hostile, and ineffectual regions, that will do us no good. |

LabStores:I bet you didn't bother to read the write-up to know ASUU's reasons for saying so. The moment you saw " ASUU Rejects FG’s," the APC trigger just went up. |

What a very clueless government...this tinubu surely is been led into all this terrible decision for the country by his kind of heartless reprobates.....government that can't pay good salaries to our educators are bent on creating more universities including London University |

dfrost:It's not a partnership but an approval. Coventry wants to establish a university campus, like we have many British and American secondary schools in Nigeria. It doesn't stop other or new exchange programmes. They are mutually exclusive agreements. |
| Re: ASUU Rejects FG’s Plan To Open British University Campus In Nigeria by Nwaikpe: 11:13am On Mar 28 |
Image123:Little do you know that many of those "British and American Secondary Schools" have nothing to do with Britain and America. Private entities just take up the name to sound sophisticated. This is a case of a university in a country that has denied your people a visa, saying that they still want your money but don't want you in thier country. Guy, just read! Reading is not that difficult! |
| Re: ASUU Rejects FG’s Plan To Open British University Campus In Nigeria by Image123(m): 11:13am On Mar 28 |
Nwaikpe:Little do you know that most people pay through their nose to go there. There are British schools in Nigeria, they don't necessarily have to be government. |

I am more ashamed on behalf of the Minister than I am of the country. Shame don use to us but for the Minister to have thought this was an achievement is so disappointing for a learned person, who also wants to be a Governor. These guys want to sell us for second slavery. Shame |

SixSeven:It's business, not by force. There are Cambridge certified schools all over the world, not just Nigeria. |

ACRI:And I bet you don't even know what you mean by the word "revolution." I bet that you have no meaningful context for it. |

Image123:You are contradicting yourself. I like that you mentioned that it is business. Is education business ![]() Is Cambridge private? Is this the Education Ministry's policy? Is this FG's policy? Please answer the questions above. |

Flangelo12:I didn't understand ASUU fear and the point. I see it as a major success because it means Instead of Nigerians travelling abroad to school u can be admitted to the such schools campus in Nigeria and have same certificate as those in UK. UK academics standards is well above ASUU imagination. |

Flangelo12:Which point exactly? It’s a private business and ideally should be a deregulated market but here we are with someone being spoon-fed by FG threatening a business that’ll actually create real value. |
