Re: ASUU Rejects FG’s Plan To Open British University Campus In Nigeria by MT: 11:30am On Mar 28
ASUU fails in their first reason for objecting - " they denied Nigeria students visa to study abroad, yet they want to come to Nigeria to rake in the money".

That's lame.

They are supposedly "intellectuals" and ought to come up with sound reasoning and arguments.

They know these universities are coming with mind blowing infrastructures and organisation. Hopefully, this act will force ASUU and Nigeria uni to up their games.

A lot is wrong with our leaders. Why establish such? Why not collaborate to have exchange programmes like back in the days?

Will the fees be paid in naira or fx? We need to see the contents of this partnership.
Excellent! Overseas exchange programmes should be the solution!

Downgrading our education system yet stealing our already made graduates to work for them.

What is wrong with covenant I University having a campus in Nigeria? I thought it's Education and we are supposed to learn from one another... What is ASUU afraid of really? Because that nonsense on recolonization is baseless...
Re: ASUU Rejects FG’s Plan To Open British University Campus In Nigeria by delpee(f): 11:35am On Mar 28
The problem is that we have free market enterprise here. It's a private institution not funded by government in any way. All that they require is approval if they meet the prescribed standards by NUC and the Fed. Ministry of Education. I don't see how ASUU can resist.

Did you read to where they said, they denying us visa to go to their country, but wanted to establish university here in other to siphon our remaining forex to their country
Re: ASUU Rejects FG’s Plan To Open British University Campus In Nigeria by Dalohad:
Open British university does not even employ Nigerian lecturers, why should they be allowed to profit from the Nigerian academic market.

Any foreign Online/Open university that wants a campus in Nigeria, must firstly show NUC that at least 50% of their employed Faculty are Nigerians, and they must pay the Nigerian lecturers in dollars or pounds.

That is the only way to gain respect of the sleazy British and Europeans who advertise their useless online and open Universities to Nigerian students but will never employ Nigerian lecturers and Faculty or even give Nigerian students visas..

Another useless one is BYU-pathway, I can name tons of them, they simply want to take money from Nigeria students and never employ Nigerian Faculty or give visas.

NUC should take this matter very seriously. That University will not be allowed here. We have enough already.

We know they are in deficit and they are looking for Nigerian funds to measure up. They can look elsewhere. Maybe Namibia.

It is the Nigerian way of solving problems themsleves.

It's like what this guy says here 👇

Nigerians even volunteer to provide their own roads. What then is the use of governmenthuh
Which Nigerians are you referring to? Is it the 0.00001% group you are referring to?
You guys just make baseless and reckless statement without proper verification. Do you know how much a borehole costs?

Only such statements can come out from an animalistic animositous Republic. Someone up there said unless a reset like the type that happened in Russia and France decades ago, Nigerians and their leaders will never get sense. Dont worry at this rate it will happen sooner than expected.

ACRI:
We need a revolution!

China,Russia, French e.t.c all broke free from under development through revolution.

Revolution is the complete overhaul and reset that we need as a nation.

If there's no resolution through revolution, there's going to be a violent balkanization.

Fragmenting Nigeria will result to smaller, hostile, and ineffectual regions, that will do us no good.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

ONE DAY THESE SO CALLED LEADERS WILL START TO USE THEIR HEADS.

ARRANT NONSENSE.

I WONDER IF UNIBEN WOULD BE ALLOWED TO ESTABLISH A LONDON CAMPUS OF UNIBEN.

ASUU reasons are too weak, visa denial cannot be an excuse jor 😂

The target audience or market for Coventry university is different despite its inside Nigeria. ASUU should be guided and see it as a challenge to up their own game. You can’t continue to hide under blaming govt while your methods and curriculum are becoming obsolete and not in tandem with 21st century education

Why is the British not granting Visas to our students but their school wants to establish in Nigeria and collect money. I support ASSU on this.

United States army brought in to protect Nigeria.

Now bring British university to Nigeria for the wards of the corrupt government officials. Another way to funnel stolen government funds out of Nigeria.
