I just have to be brief and straight to the point.
While watching the England vs Uruguay match last night at my area of Igbesa, Ogun state. I think between 9:30-10pm we heard a triple gunshot some streets away from ours.
30min later, rumors came in that a cult guy has been shot dead and a note drop on his body.
At my street last night, it was all whisper and hush hush talk of what might be written in the note till we all went to sleep.
It was this afternoon when some students from the area the incident happened came to the guest house I am working, while drinking at the bar, they started talking about the incident.
And eventually what was written in the note was spilled out.
According to them, the note read:
"DON'T PITY HIM HE HAS KILLED OVER 10 PEOPLE. IT'S HIS TURN AND MAYBE OUR TURN TOMORROW"
.
I couldn't put mouth in their discussion cus they weren't my agemates, before this young guys of nowadays insult someone.
It was one of our guy who works at the bar that gave me the gist.
Till now I am typing this, I still can't believe it. I'm trying to wrap my head around the whole write up.
If true, were the killers for real?
So they too have it at the back of their mind that they'll go the same way as their victim.
This is why I always tell people, any cult related killings. The victims are always 95% cultist.
What say you guys about the written note?

Once you join cult in Naija, you just bought a coffin. What you don't know is the time you will use it.
As for the young ones, if una like make Davido, Chief priest, Burna, Wizkid, etc dey influence una to buy coffin. Na una know.

Not all cult related killings are cultist, some are just regular stubborn guys who got killed and tagged cultist to prevent further investigation.

I remember one day when i was around 17, one useless cultist wanted to steal my phone in broad daylight, i changed it for him instant, that's how some of his guys came to the scene, they just kept asking me if im a cultist to which i replied No, but they still kept asking, eventually they gave me back my phone and told me to get lost.

I learnt later that those guys were cultists and that side was like their headquarters, everybody in that area knew they were cultists and were scared of them. They were probably not used to someone challenging them so in their mind i must be a cultist myself which is why they kept asking, I wonder how many people they killed and tagged cultist simply because he didnt let them steal his property.

Hmmm..... That one sef dey. But honestly man, I grew up in an area surrounded with cultist. If you know LASU very well, its surrounding areas of Okoko, PPL, Alaba and environs are filled with cultist.
I witness and knew of many killings, never have I heard an innocenty was killed. It's always dem dem
