People of God, abeg i need help. My starlink router has refused to come on at all. I am chatting with Starlink Support now and they said my kit is defective and they will send me a new one. Does anyone know how long this will take? My location is Mowe,Ogun State. And which dispatch carrier do they usually use? I am worried that they may not be able to locate my address, because it is quite hard to find. |

georgee:Currently experiencing same issue you experienced 2 years ago, my Oga. My router has refused to come on after nearly 2 years of use. I chatted with Starlink support and they have promised to send a new one. I see that your issue started on the 1st of April, and they didnt ship it until 10th of April, and you got it on the 15th of April. Any idea why it took them 9 whole days to ship out? My entire household have become too dependent on the Starlink that i dont know how we will cope in the coming days... ...it will be hard to work remotely and the house go dey very quiet due to lack of Netflix and chills...lolAbeg, make una advise me |

Before your hardware ships, you can always change your delivery address (if that's what you want). They'll also call you for the delivery, you can direct the courier to your actual location Iinnov8: |

Iinnov8:My brother.. I quite understand you. My whole household too are starlink dependent. I have not had DSTV in my house since 2018. So you see how dependent we are on starlink. Your kit will be shipped with DHL.. Don't worry about where you stay and how difficult your address is to locate. Just leave that to DHL. If Kits are available in Nigeria, you will be sorted in few days, if not, expect a bit longer cos of shipment from USA. Keep us posted and all the best |

johnnyholtby:Chai! I dey on a long thing be that! And it looks like MTN is now intentionally punishing me with terrible reception for the months I boycotted them. I got notification of order placement yesterday with an expected delivery timeline of 4th - 11th of April. I earnestly pray and hope that we both get notification of order shipment before the Easter holidays. |

| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by Iinnov8: 8:05pm On Mar 29 |
georgee:Thanks boss. Will definitely keep us all posted. Meanwhile, it looks like we will not be getting compensated for the weeks we are unable to use the access due to the defective kit. I thought they used to give a free 1 month service back then

Create a ticket and explain to Support. Most times they'll even call you. Got a month credit for a similar issue. You can't be waiting for your hardware to arrive while your subscription is literally useless. Iinnov8: |

I tried to activate mine tire today. Maybe it contributed to it sha...but now browsing...but the speed is still low due to misalignment by 9 degrees (15 mbps). Much obstruction here. Will take it along for Easter for proper testing. johnnyholtby: |

If you're still having issues with STARLINK's DNS, just unplug your starlink from the power source for at least 5minutes. Plug it back in and you should be good. You can use Google and Cloudfare as custom DNS too. |
