That’s if he’s the presidential candidate. Kwakwanso as VP to Obi won’t get anything outside Kano.

Opposition election is about momentum. Not sure if that will give them the Presidency but may lay a good foundation for Kwakwanso in 2031. I think in all directions, the 2027 election is already cooked for APC. The space for opposition to gain that momentum is daily going as they continue to be undecided.
But that combination is still the sure bet.
Any Northern name on that presidential ticket is Dead on Arrival

Kwakwanso as VP to Obi won’t get any momentum. The North wants the president and not the VP that they already have. The ticket will only get some traction in Kano. In fact, an Obi/Kwakwanso ticket won’t even get as much votes as Kwakwanso of NNPP got in 2023. The ticket is DoA.

The North already have the VP so offering them what they already have cannot give momentum. It will get some traction in Kano and no where else. Even in Kano, the ticket can’t get as much votes as Kwakwanso got running as president under NNPP in 2023.


ADC has a big dilemma. Give Obi the ticket and the party will collapse in the north. They are mobilizing into the party in the north on strong northern sentiment. They simply want the presidency back.

Give Atiku the ticket and the Obidient movement backing the party in the south will go very cold irrespective of who is the VP candidate. It will be a bit better to salvage if Obi is the vice presidential candidate. If it is Amaechi or another southerner, the party will collapse completely in the south east which is its base in the south.

Which VP are you talking about?
VP from a president who doesn't know his left from his right?
VP from a president who is busy worsening sufferings in Nigeria?
VP from a president who has never solved one single problem of the country 3 years since he took over?

Yes he is but add Kwankwaso's Kano vote to Obi's vote of last election. Obi will lose some of those votes while Tinubu will also lose some of his too, so candidate can boost 100% of victory.

SS and NC are already in the bag for Tinubu. Those zones are settled. ADC will win NE easily and do well in NW if Atiku is the candidate. If it is Obi, NW and NE will stick with Tinubu and wait for 2031. They won’t vote for Obi under any circumstances. It’s a no brainer now.
