Too bad ..
Women these days are so lazy some of them even give birth at home. During our mother's time, they usually calculate their gestation period so well that they hospitalise themselves 2-3 days prior. They usually give birth in the hospital.

Mothers these days give birth anywhere. Some give birth in the market, some on the road, some inside bus etc.

Strong woman. Only few of them have the strength to do something like this. The rest will be so weak they can’t even walk or talk on the way to the hospital.

I pity that child. He or she would hear this story all the days of his life. The mom would use emotional blackmail to finish him by reminding him the risk she took so he won't die in her belly

My kind of woman.

I remember when I was serving in Nassarawa state. In mararaba-Udege to be precide.

There's this particular Igbo woman that was pregnant. This faithful day she was pounding yam to prepare pounded yam when labour set in. She went to the maternity centre, gave birth, went home all by herself and finished pounding the pounded yam.

In a normal society she needs someone to drive her to the hospital. Also who is her husband, a responsible husband will not want his wife to take this risk.
