Segun Dada Knocks ADC’s Birthday Criticism Of Tinubu As “Biased And Misleading” by AnonPoet(op): 7:34am On Mar 30
The Presidency has dismissed recent remarks by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) regarding President Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing them as unfair and lacking in accuracy.
Reacting to the opposition party’s birthday message to the president, his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, criticised the ADC for making what he called sweeping and unsubstantiated claims. He argued that the party’s statement resembled a pessimistic broadcast rather than a constructive contribution to national discourse.

The ADC, through its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, had earlier used the occasion of Tinubu’s 74th birthday to fault the administration’s performance. Abdullahi claimed that the government’s “Renewed Hope” agenda has translated into hardship for many Nigerians, pointing to rising fuel prices and worsening economic conditions.

He also expressed concern over the country’s security situation, alleging that violence has intensified, leading to more casualties and displacement of communities.

In response, Olusegun accused the opposition of presenting a one-sided narrative by isolating issues without proper context. He maintained that challenges such as fuel pricing and insecurity are complex and require long-term strategies, noting that subsidy removal was necessary to address fiscal pressures.

The presidential aide further dismissed the ADC’s suggestion that Tinubu is nearing the end of his time in office as mere speculation. According to him, leadership in a democratic system is determined by voters, not political messaging or alliances.

Olusegun added that the opposition’s stance reflects desperation, describing its coalition efforts as fragile and unlikely to shape Nigeria’s future. He concluded by criticising the tone of the ADC’s message, saying it lacked the balance expected of meaningful national engagement.

This government of rice is so shameless.

They are quick to respond to birthday criticism but can't swiftly respond to the news of fulani terrorists displacing hundreds of people in omugo community in kwara state .

We warned Nigerians about this useless government in 2023 election but we were insulted, now see how bad the tinubu led administration have destroyed this once great country .

2027 election is almost here and if una like, make una vote for this useless government again, body go tell una.

The question is this, did they lie?
When you have paid propaganda, it's not biased agenda weaving.

But when opposition do what opposition do, you say it's misleading - but the people who are feeling the pain are also saying the same thing as ADC - are we all biased and misleading ourselves.

Let's not forget that this government in particular PROTESTED #97 fuel price.

Pessimists, your food is here. But let me remind you: the current state of Nigeria is not the fault of one man. Someone can want to lead and try to reform the system without being crucified simply because they weren’t your preferred candidate. the problems we face are the result of decades of leadership since independence.

Yes, the current president is not a saint and he has flaws. Yes, all politicians are the same. But you cannot blame him alone for insecurity, especially when some groups use violence or extortion to pursue their own interests. This country is complex: individual interests differ greatly across religion, ethnicity and politics.

You should keep criticizing, but also understand the consequences, the outcomes you see every day reflect your state of mind. Stop always looking for someone else to blame for your misfortune; it’s an easy habit. As usual, bring your insults if you must, I’m waiting.

The Palm Sunday mass murder in Jos north, Plateau state paints a bad picture of the president's effort in curbing insecurity in the country.

Jonathan, while in power, was on the receiving end of criticisms from Tinubu and his group. Tinubu even asked Jonathan to resign.
Should we call Tinubu and his people pessimists?

Mr man, listen carefully. Just answer the question which is "did you address your people when they gathered at Ojota" ?

You have only addressed the "generational insults " where he never did. Address the important issue, why are you writing the uzelezz epistles when you failed to do same during GEJ's tenure ?

Hypocrisy ? cheesy
