Plateau Attack: Death Toll Rises To 27 In Angwa Rukuba Community by Rep9jaCom(op): 1:03pm On Mar 30
No fewer than 27 persons have been confirmed dead following a deadly attack by suspected gunmen on Angwa Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, Rep9ja reports.

Barr Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, President of the Berom Youth Moulders-Association (BYM), who disclosed this on Monday said 14 people were killed instantly while 13 others died in the hospital.

Their corpses have since been returned to the community, he added.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday night, threw the densely populated area into panic as gunmen opened fire indiscriminately on residents.

Mwantiri, who condemned the incident, described it as another sad episode in the recurring security challenges facing communities in the state.

The BYM urged relevant authorities to ensure the perpetrators are apprehended and brought to justice without delay.

Why hasn't Tinubu resigned? The same way he asked Jonathan to resign, he should honourably do the same.

I’ve never ever understood how armed militants would operate freely in a country

Like they moved, loaded ammunitions, coordinated and communicated - entered a community and begin to kill for hours

We have army checkpoints, we have navy, we have air force, we have police, we have NCC—- and they bypass all these and be shooting non stop, did their stuffs and left safely and no one was caught, no restrictions, nothing!

Definitely, people in military and government are involved

In a good country, both president and the state governor would have resigned by now. But not in Nigeria because they knew the game they using human lives they play. God will judge u all.

A very shameful one for Bola and his city boys.

To imagine this is happening just at the middle of the country is quite disheartening!!!

Can anyone tell me what all these army personnel (glorified militants) mounting checking point on both federal and state highways are actually doing.

The first contract with the government is security of life and property, if this is not obtainable the parties are free to disband contract and result to self help.

Don't allow anyone murder you for just being in the same country with them

I'm so happy the residents of Jos North rejected d curfew and instead insisted on a peaceful protest.
I know that place, once there is little phone case, mobile police will appear with their hilux, but an attack of this magnitude and they were nowhere to be found for hrs.
Peaceful APC convention, (our) Nigerians foot

May their souls rest in perfect peace.
Plateau don't need to be part of Nigeria before they can be prosperous. Thirty five percent of whatever they produce redirected to the center will make them a developed country.

Don't be surprised if the assailants are vigilantes on government payroll. The ones arrested were found to be vigilantes!

Do you want to hear the story of what happened in my village? While I watch my brother being slaughtered you call it propaganda, the same thing tinubu said when he asked "where are the cows" the propaganda is closed to you in Kwara, terrorism is like a wild fire, when it gets to your turn, I pray it remains propaganda till all your love ones are killed the same way it's propaganda to us here
