It's all politics and about political survival in this evil terrain of Nigeria politics. Ekpa, Nkonso, Gentle de yahoo, UGM are all political actors.

Politicians, elected and appointed are responsible for distabilising the region as to maintain grips on power, that's why Gov. Hope Uzodinma will always point to politicians and other political actors as culprits instead of IPOB. You will constantly hear David Umeahi accusing former Governors as IPOB leaders as to curry favours from the Federal Government to advance his political capital leading to his defection to APC.

It's all politics to align with government at the centre.

They are all political actors, be it Ekpa, Gentle de yahoo, UGM and the cultists accept for Okonso who was killed for refusing to align with the Governor after having access to him.

It was Asari Dokubo and his boys in conjunction with Fulani militia. Asari was Buhari's military contractor and he engaged Ijaw and Igbo boys with full Nigerian military support to create the sense of insecurity in the region while Buhari was importing Fulani militia/herdsmen into the region to take over the forests and sack farmers.
