The past month has been an incredibly difficult period for me and my family. Nigeria happened to a beloved and close member of the family and this one hit really hard.

I am still struggling to reconcile the harsh reality that she is gone. Imagine speaking over the phone with someone one day after something that brought extreme joy to the entire family and 2 days later the person is gone. The entire family is devasted and the pain no be here.

A very big thanks to everyone who reached out, I no fit mention everybody, including those who left mentions on the forum, I am really grateful. Once again, death puts a lot of things in perspective for me. Life is too short, do the best you can and find happiness in little things.

One thing I made peace with this year is the aspect of death and losing someone.

I am going to die someday, so how best can I make use of my time here?

I spend more time with my family and friends. I take a break from the chaos in my life and rest. I eat what I like, and go to places I want to. I am trying to be nicer to people, because you don't know if you'll see them again.

No let am hurt you so much. It's just a phase of life that we would come and go.

I had a friend lose a younger brother, someone I knew from afar, budding young doctor with the rest of his life ahead of him, and just like that he was gone. My friend couldn't even squeeze a two-minute conversation in before the boy's life slipped away.

Two days ago, I heard one guy that used to help with dispatch lost his life in a motor bike accident. Soft spoken lad, always smiling getting his brain scraped off the floor. I still can't believe he's gone, especially in that manner, all the hustling, and that's how it ended.

Nothing at all is promised, especially in this wonderful country called Nigeria. One can be here today, and tomorrow no more.

Two opposing ideals that are fundamentally different even at a foundational level. The Bible and Quran both reject any form of feminism and yet they claim to be feminists while strongly religious.

I think a lot of people just adopt any trending tag without looking into what such tag really means or stand for on a foundational level, which brings confusion and needless backtracking later on.
