However, their actions did not go down well with members of the traditional worship community, who viewed the visit as disrespectful and an intrusion into a sacred space.

Days later, the situation escalated.

In what many have described as a form of retaliation, a group of traditional worshippers reportedly visited the prophets’ church, where they carried out rituals and sacrifices.

The incident has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing mixed opinions. While some support the actions of the prophets, others believe the move was unnecessary and provocative.

Others have also called for mutual respect among different religious beliefs, stressing the need for peaceful coexistence in a diverse society.
