I have not see any minister of power that never regarded as failure since when I have been following politics and governance in Nigeria.
Prof Bath Nnaji had potential.
He was the most promising and there was visible improvement.

Oyo state it is now left for you to show this failure where he belongs.
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by billgabb(m): 9:04pm On Mar 31
He will win Oyo in landslide victory. The people of that part of the contraption love failures like amala and ewedu. This known national failure and minister of darkness will be their most favorable candidate. Mark my words.

They did well at dsshing out Rice
Fiscus105:
Have you tried to verify the amount of money released for him to execute projects before blaming him?

If Tinubu doesn't release money for him to improve the electricity, will he spend his money? Apart from road and possibly FCT, which other area is Tinubu having impacts?
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by KingRabota: 9:17pm On Mar 31
Let them put the engineer first
Thedon22:
Did Olubunmi Ojo studied immigration before performing now? The problem of power in Nigeria is peculiar. Even if you put an Engineer as Minister of power the end result will still be the same.

Bluntemperor:
Mr Man,you have not said anything!
• So,what is the Peculiar Problem in Power-Sector that Cannot Be Fixed,
•And what is the Peculiar Problem in the Refineries that Cannot Be Fixed , Afterall Dangote Refinery Is Working, while your own by NNPC is Dead ?
-Is a question ⁉️
The peculiar problem in the sector is while it has not been fixed till date. There have been about 10 ministers of power from 1999 till date and there have been no significant improvement.
Dangote refinery is a private business and it has proved that the government is a bad manager.
In 2013 the power sector was privatized and since then it keeps getting worse. Have you asked yourself why is power getting worse under private hands? Private companies handle the generation of power and the distribution of power. State governments and can also get involved and even create operators. What the power sector needs is full decentralization across the entire power valve chain while the FG can be the regulator and create the environment for the industry to thrive.

This is what should be called shamelessness. You failed woefully in a role that you supposed to showcase yourself to the people, yet you get mind to contest election.

You are supposed to bury your head in shame for the being the worst minister of power in recent times. You are supposed to resign and go solo.
Because it is Nigeria na.
You would be shocked to know that he possibly has Tinubu's backing. Incompetency must back Incompetency.
If not for that the bar has really dropped to the lowest for a public office, because how do you reason like, you failed woefully as a minister that you were given, not really on a basis of merit as it were, and under you, total blackout became the norm, now you have the boldest effrontery to wanting to contest for the position of a governor...ONLY in Nigeria can it happen.
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by stanluiz(m): 9:36pm On Mar 31
Tinubu will just appoint another incompetent clown and the circle continues.

You people will just open mouth to talk thrash. Oyo State has one of the best performing governors in this present dispensation in the person of Makinde, who is a PDP member.

What has your own state governor achieved that can outclass Makinde's strides in Oyo State?

DeclanR:
I mentioned this even two weeks before now and I'm glad it has finally happened.

He will go down history as the worst power minister Nigeria ever had. The guy looted enough funds in order to enhance his gubernatorial campaigns. It's quite sad that he's the next Oyo State governor cos I can't see GSM getting it for his anointed successor

Penkelems is a Mess.

How will a Banker even be minister of power?
I know some will argue that there's nothing wrong in that, but come on, it matters a lot.

Imagine The current ADC spokesman, Abdullahi Bolaji as a former sports minister and Solomon Dalong. These two have no passion for sports and knew nothing in their roles.
How about Fashola a lawyer, and minister of power?
A minister of education who has no knowledge about How education can be improved upon and who never studied any education related courses.
Square pegs in round holes
That your GSM wey é you dey hype watin é do for Oyo State?

It was Late Ajimobi that solved insecurity problem thou é continue from where Ajimobi stopped and introduced Amọtẹkun.

2. Welfarism
3. Infrastructure
All d street light wey e do no dey work again.

What else did he do??

You actually think if he was incharge of power, he will do better??
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by ChristianMuslim: 10:05pm On Mar 31

Good news eventually. He came and terrible bad news start coming from Nigeria power sector. What was worse before he came got extremely, over 100% worst. Olodo

If you allow this Failure to win Oyo governorship it will be the beginning of backward on all the progress Oyo state have enjoyed under SM.

From his face you'd know he doesn't know anything. His look tells he's the kind of man that likes faaji, women and high position. He doesn't look intelligent or a visionary man
lol.omo I just dey laugh 🤣 here seeing that last paragraph.Funny enough I learnt he graduated with first class

Minister of darkness resigns.
His being there didn't even make any sense, No impact at all. I wonder what he intends to do in Oyo. undecided
He used this as an escape from being exposed as incompetent.

What a failure!
Re: Adelabu Resign As Power Minister, To Pursue Governorship Ambition by babaztee: 10:13pm On Mar 31
It is only in One country a person like the Minister of darkness goes to contest for another elective position after the abysmal performance at the ministry of Power. What is the credential? Where is the scorecard? What mouth is he going to open to request for vote?
