Nigeria Youths in Politics Condemns Jos Killings, Call for Justice

A socio-political organization, Nigeria Youths in Politics (NYP) has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the recent attacks in Jos which led to loss of lives, describing the incident as tragic and unacceptable.

In an statement issued on Tuesday by National Working Committee, the youth body strongly condemned all forms of violence, noting that such acts threaten the peace and unity necessary for national development.

The group in the statement signed by its Director of Media, Dr. Alex Nwankwo, extended its heartfelt condolences to families and communities affected by the attack, emphasizing that no society can thrive amid fear, division, and avoidable bloodshed.

It called on the security agencies to arrest the perpetrators of the dastardly act and ensure that justice is served swiftly in line with the nation's extant laws.

“As a youth-driven body, we believe that the future of Nigeria depends on peace, unity, and mutual respect among all people, regardless of ethnic, religious, or political differences,” the statement read.

The the youth organization called on relevant authorities to take swift and decisive action to restore calm in the affected areas, ensure justice for victims, and strengthen measures to protect lives and property.

The NYP urged Nigerian youths to remain calm and law-abiding during these challenging periods, cautioning against the spread of misinformation and encouraged dialogue which it described as a tool for resolving conflicts.

Reaffirming its commitment to national development, the group stated that it would continue to serve as a voice for peace, responsible leadership, and constructive engagement across the country.

Who will deliver the justice?
Those who are responsible for the justice don't really care.

Something urgent must be done ASAP to stop all these killings that have been killing Nigerians for over 15 years now.
Since this democracy started.
Some powerful people are definitely behind this.
Evil end await them all.

If your go to person is very dark man in terms of fighting for your right I truly believe you are lost.

The country is a failed state when a mannerless individual becomes the go to person for human right activity.

I dont hate very dark man, he is a strong man for what he is doing. I serious condemn when people dont have respect and manners of approach in their doings.

You might not understand this, but we have seen alot of activists and we have seen what they truly stand for, their sacrifices has never gone unnoticed. But as youths our duty is to demand from our leaders what belongs to us and not put our hope in an individual just like me and you.

We have the power to choose, we have the power to ensure the right people are in the right places, when we gail to do our due diligence the price we pay is looking up to someone like VDM.

I just pray we get it right eventually.

Yea, no be only ISWAP na HAMAS in conjunction with Hezbollah. But then, come to think of it, na de same people with same religious belief de cause all these bloodshed. But those who tacitly support them by their inaction and propaganda because of politics, will share in their recompense.

When will we take the fight to them in our bushes. Thinking when something will be done doesn't do poop, challanging the matters die hard solves the problem.
