River state governor, Nyesom Wike, said he was drinking a 40-year-old whiskey when the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar led protesters to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in protest, IGBERETV reports.

The national chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu and Atiku Abubakar led other leaders of the party to protest alleged irregularities that marred the conduct of the presidential election. The party had asked that results collated from the exercise be cancelled and elections be redone in areas that had problems.

Speaking at an event, Wike mocked his party members referring to them as a “students’ union” chanting “aluta continua”. He said;

“What is in us is greater than what is in them,” the governor said in a mix of English and pidgin.

“As they were protesting, I just sat down and I took one 40-year-old whiskey. I called some of my friends ‘o boy, sit down. Make una sit down open 40 years.

Obi won 11 states plus FCT
Out of those 11 states
Lagos, plateau, nasarawa, Imo, Ebonyi. These are 5 states plus FCT, making it 6 that ordinarily tinubu is supposed to win because of APC control of the structure of those places
Then for PDP, he won Abia, Ebonyi, Edo, delta, and cross rivers
Those are 5 states that one would have expected PDP to win
But there is a dynamics.
Southerners won't have vote Atiku a northerners after Buhari another northerner just finished 8yrs
The 8 states Obi won in the South would have swing to tinubu favour
Infact, with a ballot of Atiku and Tinubu alone, 80% of Obi votes would have gone to Tinubu
So when I see people saying Obi helped Tinubu when in reality he divided the southern votes, it baffles how the IQ of an ordinary NIGERIAN really is.

It was actually Atiku Obi helped
If the northerners had rallied around Atiku, he would have been President now and the narratives would have changed that obi scuttled the chance of the South by dividing it's votes
