Human rights lawyer reacts to derecognition of the Mark-led ADC The ADC is not my cup of tea, but there is now reasonable basis to infer existence of a well orchestrated sinister conspiracy to truncate contested and credible elections in 2027.Inibehe Effiong Esq

Was I not reciting and explaining same thing yesterday?. Rivers lawmakers publicly announced their defection. They sued the Governor and it was in their affidavit that they had defected yet the Court said membership of a political party is determined by the Party not the Courts. APC members here were asking if Amaewhule's name was in the APC Register. Today, Nafiu has been expelled. A Party is supreme over its own affairs. The man resigned, a NEC meeting was held, INEC was present and the formal handover of activities took place..... A NEC meeting, yet Professor of Law has now interpreted ante bellum in his own way. Like I said, we have seen this before. The worst institution hit by Tinubu's ascendancy is the Judiciary, it will take years to right the wrongs. It's finally going to be a coronation and not an election, so INEC share the money and give me my own cut. |

Tinubu must be blamed for the opposition internal issue It's disrespectful for politicians to hijacked a political party and believe you can change the excos and structure without getting those who have been loyal to the party for years involved Someone bragging about his position at a small party, you joined the party and believe you can sack the person without fighting back Again, everything leads back to leadership. The congregations of the people now in ADC lack leadership qualities because this issue shouldn't have made it to the news |

Inehebe has a valid point but is the matter in court, should the INEC support one of the factions before the court verdict? I only need answers. |

The way it's going, Nigerians and other political parties will boycott the 2027 elections. The opposition should declare INEC incompetent to handle the coming election and call for the removal of the INEC Chairman immediately. The North can do this perfectly. This is the reason why many believe democracy cannot work in Africa. You preach as a democrat but turns out to be an imperialist and a dictator. You tend to neutralize every opposition because now you seized power. Those in support of this nonsense, how different are they from the khaki boys? |

madridguy:Imagine the political refugees who joined ADC just yesterday and be thinking they can dislodge the party excos who have been loyal to the party for years just like that. Honestly, all the leaders of the current ADC are just horrible in leadership qualities . Same party internal issue that made them to leave their respective party , yet they are still in ADC not interested in being responsible for the progress of the party without disgracing themselves on the media Failures are never interested in taking responsibility for anything without pointing ☝️ fingers 🤘. That's exactly the case of ADC |

With all the Governors in one party, why are these people still jittery of the opposition? If you won the election in 2023 and now you have all the Governors and senators supporting you, why are you scared? Imagine if Messi and Ronaldo are in one team yet they are scared of playing Enyimba and have to manipulate the Ref? Except, what they have are fake Messi and fake Ronaldo |
