[A Nigerian lady’s current predicament after welcoming a baby has stirred concerns online.

According to a post from @king-of-reality02 on TikTok, the woman lost her sight two weeks after welcoming a baby.

The now-viral TikTok video shows the lady exiting a vehicle, supported by a woman, and being wheeled into the hospital premises in a wheelchair.

‎According to @king-of-reality02, the woman lost her sight due to a brain tumor, and medical practitioners are demanding 20 million naira for surgery.

‎The TikToker further appealed for financial assistance regarding the surgery, stating, “We cannot do this alone. Imagine holding your newborn while losing your sight. Imagine fighting for your life when you should be celebrating it”.

Meanwhile, the post, which has gone viral online, has been flooded with concerns about the struggles that come with postpartum.

This is so sad, I had to take to Google to check if a woman can lose her sight after delivery and it said it happens in rare cases and the sight is restored after some time. It seems the tumor she had caused the blindness, it only coincided with the childbirth. I hope her sight is restored

Kudos to women, nobody is dragging anything with u, giving birth is a Life threatening procedure, na just God .

Issue men have with women, is, don't only say to the Man, I give u children, no, just try assist in your own way to cater for yr home, remember two of u are in a relationship together.

My cousin lost his due to brain tumor...had the surgery...He's living today but still blind...God's grace on all the sick Amen
