This is what Nigerian politics has been reduced to. Watch as APC leaders and supporters openly distribute massive sacks of branded rice to a huge crowd under a giant tent in Lagos.

Stacks upon stacks of rice bags printed with APC slogans, photos of party figures, and messages like “NATIONAL UNION ROAD” and “SUBR-01”. Politicians in traditional attire (white agbada, green caps, colourful shirts) personally hand out the bags while the crowd smiles, poses, and collects. Green-and-white balloons, matching party caps, cameras rolling — it’s a full-blown political event.
“No jobs, just rice.
No power, just rice.
No healthcare, just rice.
No development, just rice.”

This is gradually becoming a disturbing issue across the country

What's the crime in that,if you don't need it,there are millions of others that do......in the video they weren't collecting the voters card from the owners,they were only verifying they were eligible voters.

How can this present government be so heartless to the poor masses

I don't blame the people collecting the rice cause there is serious poverty in the country

Okay.. rice is what some like while others like malt and Gala.

Time and fate have once again revealed the most primitive in Nigeria.

This is an evidence of how Rice is taking over Nigerian politics.
No more manifestos, No more point agendas.
You only have to starve them, and then give them rice in exchange for their votes. The bigger your bags of rice the higher your chances of winning.
