Doctors I know, but I always heard soldiers are paid promptly and it is only his last salary delayed. Someone has confirmed this to me in my mention. Maybe there is a problem with their payment system.

Why will his salary be delayed. It's quite absurd and uncharitable even insensitive for you to delay the salary or forget to pay your mai guard talk less of a while soilder

Exactly,my girls dad is a retired soldier that saw active combat during the civil war,over 50 years retired,I think he was a lance corporal.....he still receives his pay from the Nigerian army quite regularly.....quite regularly because,some months he doesn't,maybe 2 months out of 12.....last month he even got a raise.

This particular soldier wasn't on duty. He just ran in from his own duty post, that's why it took another soldier on duty in uniform at the checking point to ask the young man for the lift on behalf of his fellow soldier in mufti

What will they do with the 48k they are being paid?? The food they are given is even an eyesore. They are sent on missions to exact locations where they can be ambushed because Boko haram members are now amongst them and even leading them... People that joined less than 5 years ago ooo.

Yea, their wives always selling kunu and zobo or doing petty jobs to get by. I mean the recruits or whatever they are called. I hope they get paid soon. Even their salaries should be reviewed if the figures I see here is true.

Soldiers are always paid every month the only difference is they are been paid in first week of the new month. But for this year since the issue of salary increase, they have experienced some little delay but there is what they called grumbling allowance that one has been paid to the best of my kn̈knowledg within this week.
