Decided to develop and one m@d man who called himself baale sent his boys to stop work and we should come and see him.

Meanwhile, I bought land from the matriarch who billed me extra cash as "owo agba"..insurance that no mammon would ever disturb me.

When the consultant informed, we put a call to mama's son. Not knowing that mama get were pass all of them 🙄...aparently the so called baale na baby for whrre mama dey..

Any land without valid RofO or CofO is a no no. Don’t buy or build on any land without valid title documents. Never buy a land or house without the advice of a good lawyer who must conduct proper search and due diligence. If you have valid title, I don’t see what business you have with the baale or whatever they call him.

Use that 20M to buy land in your state and put the Baale in shame, or go to court if you are sure of what you posted, let your husband be man enough he shouldn't kill himself because of land issues

And its not gonna end there, after your husband gives the baale 10m, he is gonna give the boys he sent to call your husband like 5m. The painful part is, nothing can be done about it. If your husband isnt ready to give them the money, he should sale the land and better buy an already developed/built house!

In practice, all Land is vested with Government but there are some Lands that are Family Lands in Lagos. If you buy them, you will still need the Governor/Government to issue you a Certificate of Occupancy.

That said, the menace of this Omoniles and these Balees and some Obas is actually out of hand in Lagos and like they use to say, this is their own Oil/natural resources.

Oga I sued a company, after all the wahala paying lawyers, driving to court it wount sit etc spending so much time and money I got judgement in my favour roughly 8 years later, by then money that was equivalent to Eg $300k, with the devaluation of the naira today has become Eg $30k. Now those people appealed after delaying to file within the normal time, for the past 3 years we are still looking to get a date for hearing! Ie 11 years has passed ontop matter they told me wount pass few months ohh. Now let say I finally win in court of appeal, what if they decide to go to Supreme Court? At this rate it means another 10 years will pass abi?

Land matter nko, my papa been de court with people that took his land, court for 20years, papa died 3 years ago, na me now de pay lawyers to fight the matter, the land grabber too don old so likely will kpai soon too, him and my daddy fit de drag the matter for younder while me and the man pikin de drag now.
