Hamideh Soleimani Afshar — niece of slain IRGC Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani — & her daughter were arrested by federal agents and are now in ICE custody.

While living in the U.S., Afshar allegedly promoted Iranian regime propaganda, celebrated attacks on American soldiers, praised the new Iranian Supreme Leader, called America the “Great Satan,” and expressed support for the IRGC — a designated terror organization — all while living what State described as a “lavish lifestyle” in Los Angeles.

Afshar’s husband has been barred from entering the U.S. Separately, earlier this month Rubio terminated the LPR status of Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani — daughter of former Iranian NSC chief Ali Larijani — and her husband. Both are no longer in the U.S. and are barred from future entry.
