⚡The New York Times reports that following the rescue of the F-15E weapons officer, the two transport aircraft (presumably C-130s) used to transport the personnel out of Iran "got stuck" after they landed in Iran.

It was reportedly decided to bring 3 new aircraft to carry out the extractions, and blow up the 2 which got stuck to prevent them from being captured by Iranian forces.

How about Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq? These countries are still on their feet.

If America could not send these weak and smaller countries to the stone age, they stand no chance against Iran that is larger with a bigger population.

The missing U.S. pilot has been extracted, but is now in critical condition.

Medics are racing to stabilize him before landing.

Several U.S. service members were also injured in the daring rescue, but all are now safe.

Current known tally of losses from this series of operations:
• 1x F-15E destroyed
• 2x HH-60 helicopters damaged
• 1x A-10 destroyed
• 2x C-130 destroyed
• 1-2x MQ-9s destroyed

Possible damage/speculative

The United States is doing a tremendous good job in Iran, those guys are really good.
Imagine a rescue mission for just 2 of your airman in enemy territory, how many Russian generals has been assainated by Ukraine and Russia couldn't do anything.
I often bad mouth US but when they are good, I'll tell you they are good. I don't take geopolitics with feelings or emotions unlike how a lot of pro-whatever here do. All this is entertainment to me.
