The newly completed Accident and Emergency Unit at ESUT Teaching Hospital, Parklane, is ready for commissioning.
Governor Mbah remains committed to delivering an efficient, accessible, and affordable healthcare system for Ndi Enugu, from primary to secondary and tertiary levels of care.

The kind of news we ought to be reading.
This kinds of news keeps hope alive and lets us know a better Nigeria is in the forth.
Not everyday, APC, ADC, PDP, Labour, BLord, VDM, Blessing CEO, Sowore

And the building looks beautiful and solid.
Kudos to the Architect, the engineers and builders including the sponsors.

The Song is more SouL lifting than the Edifice.
I was expecting something Phenomenal.

Governor Mbah is really trying in infrastructure in Enugu. But I wonder where this building is located in that Parklane cos I know there no too much space there. Did the government acquire more land around the hospital?

Imagine the outdated 80’s style structure this clueless governor is using in the 21st century despite borrowing billions for the project.
Enugu people have entered one chance.
Re: Newly Completed ESUT Teaching Hospital A&E Unit Ready For Commissioning by fineboynl(m): 6:11am On Apr 06
Those columns are too thin. What type of rods are used in those columns that support the 5-story buildings? considering the space as a car park. I just hope a car accident in one or more of those columns in the future will not affect the integrity of that building. Otherwise, they better use the underneath as a waiting hall instead.

Kudos to Mba.

But should one major hospital to service the whole Enugu State be celebrated? Nigerian politicians are bad but the masses are worse.

This is the same size as your typical 2-storey hotels that litter South-East. One would think that he built the equivalent of Kaiser Permanente with all the noise around this mediocre achievement. This is the kind of hospital expected from individual investors and not any serious government.

Enugu people have entered one chance.
Like 200 million Nigerians have been stuck in one chance since 1999 with all the governors, who have failed to make ordinary water available to all households huh

It is by far better than Enugu.

500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.

But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.

I hope the civil servant that will implement the maintenance will not inflate or divert the running or maintenance cost especially C.M.D and the permanent secretary ministry of health, health service commission, They use " Ogun " to make an oath that if they ever mismanaged a dine in the monthly maintenance cost they should use thire hand to buried their children ,don’t allow them make oath with Bible ,God is merciful and judgement is not instant but Ogun will kill them instantly.
The criminals in the civil services is greater than the political criminals

Health, however, is primarily not in Health facilities!
You are basically the architect of your own health and your family's health through knowledge on how to promote your health and prevent disease living a healthy lifestyle.

Ah yes, build new projects and through them siphon money and let the people clap, also siphon the money for maintenance and in few years the place is a shadow of what they commissioned, rinse and repeat.

ESUT just dey build structures up and down which is great! But then they should also improve on maintaining the current structures.

How come not one single AC dey their Burns and Plastics wards?! Even sterilized packs for dressing de lack sometimes. I no sure say I fit allow my person dey there o. But then what are the alternatives?

Naija sha smh.

The docs are good but that hospital lack equipment and the bottlenecks too much along the chain of command so before report go reach CMD him go approve, info will take time to get back to the effected department months/years done pass.

No just get better illness for Nigeria
Since we love to hand over everything to God and not hold ourselves responsible for our health then we never ready to grow.

If we still believe there is a better place than here called heaven we would NEVER improve here because better place dey. Misplaced priorities.

In the Marslows pyramid of human needs, spirituality comes last at the highest level of the pyramid and should be pursued after u have attained Levels 1 - 4 first.

But not Nigerians, we like to jump queue. Na so we jump level one — physiological needs (warmth, food, water). Jumped level 2– security, clothing and jumped all other 4 levels of human need including education, internet, healthcare etc and somehow landed on the level 6 of the pyramid which is Spiritual Enlightenment. 🤦

When will our politicians stop building hospitals that will be manned by flies ?
Because Health workers are leaving the country in droves due to poor renumeration.
NARD is going on Total strike
Yet you are building more facilities to enshrine that you are working
Useless

It's so disappointing to know that the same governor who remodeled GTC Enugu and is currently building smart schools could construct an archaic building like this.

Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is probably the best and most useful thing I learnt in my Philosophy class in the university.

Better than someone who claimed to have built 48 smart schools with N43B.

Till date, we are yet to see the schools.

On Mba's manhood we stand.
