In Lagos State, dwelling in an uncompleted building is illegal and frowned upon by the Lagos Building Control Agency.
The obvious reason being safety concerns.

When was the last time the Federal government built housing units for it's citizens?
China build 5 to 7 million of housing units every year, that is why even with their population China does not have challenges of homeless people.

Many people living in Lagos don't know they can buy land cheap in abeokuta and build house conveniently.
The money that will take to island from mainland will take you to abeokuta to and fro.

The problem with the increase in house rent also lies within the fact that house agents are the crazy folks behind it.

For some time now, I've been contemplating packing out of this my present apartment,but ordinary self-contain,these criminals who don't have an idea of the current price of a bag of cement called agents have just made me to have a change of mind,and it seems I ain't leaving here anytime soon.

Nigerian ladies should learn from this woman, she did not shout, she did not insult her husband, she did not fight her husband and she did not abandon her marriage.

She remained, this is a true wife! Few years from now, that house will be unrecognizable.

Some wives will run away, my prayer for every man is for him to be lucky enough to be with the right woman.
