While projects are simultaneously springing up in every of the country under Tinubu, Obi and some supporters are wailing. The projects ungoing under Tinubu u across is unprecedented in the history of Nigeria. Yet some people would rather have that progress stopped because their kinsman did not win the presidency. Kudos to CCP and others who want real progress for the country instead of tribalism. Even in Anambra Soludo's 3 years has outperformed Obi's 8 years in office courtesy of Tinubu. Indeed, Tinubu for 3rd term like Ighoho Ossa.

That was the stadium I used to play as a secondary school student between 1980 and 1985 then it was ordinary ground not even grass plus Evans square at Ebute-Meta. I asked him who named it Maracana, he replied that it looks like I just jumped into the comment section (on my own thread).

Then he started writing all sorts of irrelevant things about playing on the field in 1985 (which is a lie. He won't be asking why Maracana if he played on the field in 1985) simply because he saw my post about the origin of the field.

Can you imagine that?

Children of nowadays are very funny.

Yes Femi I know I used to play there between 1980 and 1985 . The point I was making is that they ought to have changed the name to a Nigerian name maybe in favor of any of our famous footballers that played there. Maracana is a Brazilian name. And thanks for your respectful and calm response. I don't know why a lot of NL"s are very rude even over a simple comment.

Looks like the main stadium in the Maracana stadium complex has no provision for spectators seating. Poor vision!

FLASH: President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT GCFR is set to commission a number of Key Infrastructural Projects executed by the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu

The Projects are:

The iconic Opebi-Mende-Ojota Link bridge

Lagos State Geographic Information Service (LAGIS) Building, Alausa

The Lagos State Multi-Agency Complex, Alausa

The mid level Agro food Hub, Abijo, Ibeju Lekki, Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The Regeneration and full Upgrade of the Tolu Schools Complex, Ajegunle

Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle (consisting of 19 mini football pitches)

Mr President will commission these projects on his Two-day State Visit to Lagos State.
