3. Ordinarily, the caliphate (role of Muhammad) was supposed to devolve on Ali, but due to internal wranglings, he didn't become the caliph. In fact, he was the last to rule out of the four companions of Muhammad.

Since the start of this War there haven’t been a single demand for a Ceasefire from Iran.
