Let’s a quick, breezy summary of this conversation. It's all about keeping things lively and engaging. It's a bit. enthusiastic.

But Yorubas have helped the Igbos most because they see them as their brothers and sisters...junior brothers and sisters.
It is a legacy thing for Yorubas to help their Igbo brethren without eye service.
Yes i remember how awolowo help them by starving three million igbo kids to death.

Tribalism is not very visible or effective in real life
I mean real people's life..

I have alot of adopted sons n daughters from different tribes..upto nigeriens

Once u work for me,and u distinguish urself u don enter my hall of Fame and u welcome into my home n biz anytime.
it was not so pronounced until 2015 when Tinubu discovered that Igbos will be the biggest stumbling block to his becoming President so he activated his tribal division politics to project Igbos as the greatest threat to Yorubas in Nigeria in order to get more Yorubas to align with him against the Igbos and unfortunately he succeeded in doing that.

That was when they started with tagging Jimmy Agbaje a bonafide Yoruba man an Igbo man that wants to help Igbos take over Lagos state, from there it became worst as they succeeded the first time.

If you go to Lagos since then, majority of Yoruba landlords openly tell house agents that they are not renting their house to Igbos, go and verify this.

So it's visible now even offline all thanks to Bola Tinubu and his divisive style of politics and leadership that have emboldened tribalists, sadly

The OP is just being mischievous and trying to insult other tribes.

Why did you Igbo brother give her the money just so all the Igbos in the world will use it to insult her and her tribe just the way you are doing now.

Why give a gift and turn around and tell all your tribe members to start raining insults on the woman and her tribe.

This is not helping and the money given by your Igbo brother was not given in good faith

I am neither Igbo nor Yoruba but I will do everything in my power to ensure that no Igbo ever smell the presidency in Nigeria

The calamities I see are the OBIDIENTS who are crying and wailing because we refused to let Obi be president.

Peter Obi will never ever be president.

Know the above and know peace

Okay guys, I am going to bring to you an interesting event that's already trending in the Nigerian social media spaces.

It's a touching story of a Yoruba woman, I guess a widow who moved into a house her husband started but was unable to complete . She and her young kids had to move into the uncompleted building because she said she could not afford the high rent agents/landlords were calling for their apartments.

Shortly after the woman made this post public on social media, Nigerians from all tribes and social class responded showing pity and compassion towards her as many pledged to donate to help her make the uncompleted building more habitable for her and the kids. Hours gone no one fulfilled their big promises except one Igbo man who doesn't even live in Lagos state that sent the woman 1million naira and the woman is already overjoyed and couldn't hold her joy as she came back online to share her testimony which has now encouraged others to start making their little contributions.

Guys guess why I brought this topic here?

If you have observed, as I have observed over the years before now, the most popular political song most Yorubas sing even offline is this:

AN IGBO MAN WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA!

and to them, so long as this is fulfilled, they are happy, whether the person ruling Nigeria is ruining it or not and making life miserable for them, to them it doesn't matter to them so long as Igbo man or woman does not become President of Nigeria.

Interview most of them why they don't want Peter Obi to emerge President of Nigeria and they will tell you with pride and joy that AN IGBO MAN WILL NEVER RULE NIGERIA! and whenever they say it, they feel so fulfilled and overjoyed with pride that they said it.

Ask most of them what an IGBO man or woman has done to them personally and they will go back to 1966 to tell you how Igbo soldiers did this and that coup. Ask them if there were no other coups or even bloody coup d'etats after the January 1966 coup, and they will start throwing tantrums and insults with joy and fulfillment.

Make una continue sha, na nature go handle all these things with time, I pray most of us live to see ourselves cool

See here
when Mr ibu, an Igbo man was sick, it was a Yoruba man, bukola saraki that paid for everything ibu needed, all his hospital bills, he cleared all, did you see any Yoruba man make noise with it ?

People like Helinus, Yarimo and co. I just wonder how grown up men can easily be swayed by politicians.
Zionmdde:
If nor for tribalism, how will apc still have supporters, how will tinubu still have defenders

Don't blame any politician, they are just doing their business, blame those who are easily deceived and swayed

When the calamity called Obi was governor, he threw Anambra into serious poverty so much so that many Anambra people ran away from Anambra to the North and Lagos and other South west States.

After all these your wicked propaganda, that same Anambra people gave him over 90 percent votes in the state he created poverty.

He still came to Lagos state were Tinubu turned to Dubai and gave him a terrible BLOODY NOSE by winning him.

Is God not wonderful?

Thank God Tinubu and the North are not in agreement today to help him win again after Obi Disgraced him and his supporters in the east, Lagos and Abuja.

Y'all can keep hating on yourselves online but offline,we love ourselves and do businesses with one another and say Fvck-U to tribalism.

A wise Igbo person has to be very cautious when dealing with people who have extreme hatred towards them.
Online and offline are all the same. It's offline people who are instigating hatred online.

My brother, be it through the Internet oh or news channel, all are medium of communication. Besides, the woman that received the help is the main propagator of this information who happens to be a Yoruba person.
