Browsing is slower, downloads are inconsistent, and sometimes pages don’t even load at all.

I guess it’s a nationwide issue now, just like the electricity shortage in the country.

I can’t play games or stream, really bad network. Airtel is the worst in streaming, MTN is bad at gaming.

We can’t just be happy in Nigeria

Bad mtn network make one werey knack me 10:0 for FC Football, I nearly break my phone.

Person will recharge data of 5k and bad network will not allow you to use it. At the end of day it will still expire without compensation. Which body is responsible for protecting consumers rights in this country self

MTN 5G IS CRAP !

I thought it’s just me. Their internet/data services have been very poor, and I don’t know why. Could it be some cost cutting measures that are resulting in compromises on quality?

Yeah, the same experience here,both networks have been very unstable. Even with all the huge profit that MTN declared recently, they cannott spend money to upgrade or maintain their system.

I put phone in airplane mode 100 times daily

I have been observing same with MTN. It's really frustrating

The federal government asked them to switch off the internet

So they are simply obliging

Yes they are. Diesel is expensive. Not all Base stations are currently powered. Networks have to prioritise which facility gets diesel and which doesn't. But this isn't the main concern now.

If the war in the Middle East keeps heating up, the marine cable that most of the world relies on for the internet, including Nigeria inclusive might be targeted. Russia has already practised carrying out such an attack. If that cable gets cut, we will all be f u cked in ways we never thought possible.

There's an ongoing protest in South Africa now, their people are demanding that their data subscription shouldn't expire, since it's bought by their money MTN should stop wiping their data in d name of expiration.

Not just those two. All Broadband ISPs. They are selling internet access with very poor qos and nobody is checking that the consumers are getting value.

I think the only problem our leader are concerned about now is 2027 election. And that is for both the left and the right of course.

I've not experienced it with Airtel really. Just MTN. It's been terrible.

MTN has been terrible for the past two months. I have called customer service severally thinking my data is exhausted.

Airtel has been dead for six days now..

the networks be acting like they're after one's life, even MTN that we officialy use as CUG is nothing to write home about, Airtel that i switched to for personal use due to MTN's data drainage and exorbitant prices is terribly slow and sometimes totally out of service

Airtel has been absolutely atrocious. Even to make transfers it is terrible. Locations like Abuja, Keffi are worst hit. Slightly okay in Enugu.

Glo dey try small Sha, especially at night

MTN is sh!t currently.

Glo is completely offline on my end

I have dumped Airtel for browsing a long time ago.

The whole country is currently a mess.
