As you brought this quote from the minister directly, bring the 10 points demand from him directly too. Not one propaganda handler from a so called embassy not related to the matter. Imagine Nigerian embassy in Botswana dictating terms of Nigeria US relations...

Other presidents said it. President Trump did it ✅

the difference is that everyone before him had the sense to speak softly while carrying a big stick. now we have trump saying he will annihilate a civilization and send them to the stone age

yes some people are cheering this - and these are the same ones who got upset when buhari says we will treat them in the language they understand. Trump is destroying Good will and soft power and creating an order where diplomacy is eschewed for brute force.

the man tried to arm iranian protesters . so what is the difference between him and nigerian politicians who arm thugs to do their bidding?

People complain about wike's repeated threats of violence but as it is, this is the new order and the accepted way of doing things and we should all get with the program
Go and ask all the gulf countries that have been getting bombed daily by a sick regime whether they agree with you.

Eight minutes after claiming Iran has undergone "regime change" and a deal is being worked out — Trump threatens any country supplying weapons to Iran with immediate 50% tariffs.

Soooo Russia and China?

While I get your general sentiment on how Trump operates, the bolded is not in any way equivalent to the actions of Nigerian politicians, especially, the APC government...

Anyways, let's hope they reach an agreement and stop this war, and I hope both the Iranian and Nigerian citizenry can get a little reprieve from their bleak day to day lived reality...

He lets the last Hungarian go. He waits until his wife and kids are in the ground and then he goes after the rest of the mob. He kills their kids, he kills their wives, he kills their parents and their parents' friends. He burns down the houses they live in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money.
this is a quote from the usual suspects. iran is a country that has been under sanctions for the past 40 years. a country that the us fought a proxy war against with actual WMD [saddam used chemical weapons] The us incited protests and tried to arm protestors . they had a never before seen drought which i am sure we will find out yeas from now was the us and isreal.

and you expect them to go down quietly? to 'fight fair' against a big bully that has repeatedly acted in bad faith and attacked them in the middle of negotiations? a bully whose infrastructure and assets are conveniently over 6000km away?

i know you have read enough articles about how trump was advised that several of these scenarios would play out but that nethenyahu sold him the idea that they could pull a maduro on Iran

as for the gulf countries at their core they are not much different from iran - saudi has been bombing yemen for 10 years, UAE is promoting genocide in sudan - they are all monarchies where there is no real freedom/democracy [if 'freedom' is the argument] - and they were all happy to let the US use their land as a base to attack iran from.

the thing about the gulf countries
saudi arabia, uae, bahrain, kuwait
and their sidekick 404 country in jordan

is that
iran has other neighbors
they have turkey (sunni), armenia (christian), azerbaijan (sunni), uzbekistan (sunni), pakistan (sunni), afghanistan (sunni)

with the exception of very limited (less than a dozen) attacks on turkey and azerbaijan directly against us installations
no economic or civilian targets
iran did not strike any of the other countries they share a border with

why only the gulf?
when has a shia persian crossed the border into christian armenia to blow up a church or sunni turkmenistan that they share a 1,100km border with to steal land
turkmenistan has just 8 million people, iran has 90 million people
iran can take entire lebanons out of turkmenistan without any issue
but there is zero appetite for conflict with its neighbors

except the gulf that want to be fomenting trouble everywhere
why is the uae sending arms and money to the rsf in sudan to conduct ethnic cleansing?
wetin concern the gulf arabs and sub-saharan africans?
from libya to syria to uzbekistan they arm and fund sunni wahabbi terrorists
they have trillions in the bank and are still insecure

they got exactly what they deserved in this war
if anything, iran was too mild on them

armenia is the oldest christian nation on the planet
zero direct or indirect attacks by the islamic republic on armenia
right on their border
but it is christians oceans away in europe, america, australia, and nigeria that they would want to kill

as always
mr. iran killed its own kids in minab
emerges with a completely boneheaded take

iran will now earn $100B per year from the strait of hormuz
and will receive payment in yuan
establishing de-facto control over a passage that was open before the war
and de-facto control over 20% of global oil

this is the suez canal moment for the us

-Lord
Lol. This 🤡. A regime that slaughtered it's people and was ready to use it's kids as shields and soldiers. That will not be their first rodeo

Whatever monies they get from the Strait let them use it to rebuild their country. We know they wouldn't though. They will just loot it and buy property in London and other parts of the world. Leaving actual Iranians in continued penury. That is who you are twerking for

Anyway as far as their nuclear artillery is degraded there will never be deterrent for future attacks if they fall out of line so you can continue waffling. E say for us 🤣😂

that is the us narrative - or as you sometimes call it the legacy media narrative

people also gave arms to ESN

maybe those arms were given to them so that nigerian army would stop slaughtering them

someone is arming fulani herdsmen as well - maybe so that they can protect their cows.

niger delta agitators were given arms and they became militant warlords

you are a nigerian from a country overrun with different collections of gun toting thugs

this is 2026 and we should have left the fantasies of the us as some white hat hero

this is trump we are talking about.

I don't view anyone as a hero. Correct that false assumption quickly.

I listen to the Thomas Sowell doctrine that says "there are no solutions only tradeoffs."

Any government that can wake up and in a month span wipe out over 10000 people. They openly admitted to killing over 3000 btw should be protected from one way or another.

Your ESN and Fulani false equivalence notwithstanding

I'm happy that they whacked majority of the IRGC officials responsible for that massacre and if we're lucky they get to whack some more. I was hoping for regime change but the realistic side of me always suspected Trump did not care about that else he would have been ready for a much longer war.

Or perhaps he didn't want a Russia/Ukraine situation where Putin is now stuck for over 3 years with basically nothing to show for his troubles except the bodies of 100,000 Russians

I honestly don't see the motivation for any youth in his right senses to join the Nigerian Army especially at a time they are getting whacked by terrorist groups with superior arms & ammunitions.

Methinks if people stop rushing to take application form to join the army, perhaps the government would do the needful to improve their welfare package in order to encourage people to join.

Then again, I think most youth who join the army despite the pittance they pay them as salary are doing so just because of the so called strong man status the army uniform bestows on them. The "privilege" of intimidating civilians, enjoying free public transport , being unanswerable to civil authorities like the police, etc are the reasons why some young people still rush to join the army.

Most pastors earn far less than that and they're tasked with fighting evil and wicked demons. Some earn 20k in remote villages and they're suffering. This means that someone earning 112k is like a god.

This I have seen.
