Same here
Please did you apply with the frequent traveler option? Or 1st timer.

Hello guys, can someone please advise on frequent traveler processing period of recent?
I have a frequent traveler that wants to renew, but concerned about the passport being held for too long as there's another intended trip for month end.

Hi Firebreather

Any ideas how to book a flight reservation?want to visit Switzerland June 2-June 5 while in the UK. Already got my UK round trip tickets. My problem is getting the flight reservation

firebreather:
Appealing is not a bad idea, but you already submitted strong documentation so you might not even know where you got it wrong, hence also not know what to appeal based on.

Don't have much experience other than this but I know for sure that applying with another country will definitely look suspicious and if you're reapplying soon it should be with France but then the general advice would be to address the reason for the rejection well.

Judging by all you said was submitted, there was no reason for the visa to be rejected so you can actually sue them. I've heard someone mentioned that but dunno how effective it is.

It'll also be nice if you can share full cover letter here (remember to redact identifiable information) for reference in case others too want to have a look at it.

Due to my inexperience beyond, I'll advise you talk to a travel agent that's versed in applying for Schengen visas. There's a lady I know who works for Ufitfly but I dunno if this thread welcomes sharing recommendations.

Recently, she helped about 3 - 4 people secure France tourist visas so it might be worth talking to her. You can approach for a consultation first and then seek her advice on the next steps too.

If you care for contact, send me a mail from my profile.

By the way, the land title documents you submitted was it the deed of assignment only or was there additional documents you added for the land?

Just saw this somewhere and tried it out. It’s like a visa check thing you answer some questions and it tells you what might be wrong with your application before you apply. Didn’t expect much tbh but it pointed out a couple things I hadn’t even considered and It’s free sha. https://www.usemeridian.app/check
How safe is this site? you didn't drop any caveat. Hope it is not one of those sites that keeps people's personal details for what have you?

I think the public holidays affected processing times. But I also believe people who applied during the last week of February should have all gotten updates by now. I applied 2nd week of March, looks like I am going to have to be very patient.

Hopefully they improve because with their processing times because its not peak season and its not like UK or the US.. having to wait over 30 calendar days is a lot

Yes, visas are processed in categories, and processing times vary significantly between them. Generally, standard tourist or business visas are processed faster (often within 3 weeks) compared to family, settlement, or student visas, which may take many weeks or months due to complex documentation checks

Hi all,
My sister applied to France early March but her travel passed, please what happens if your travel date has passed and no response do you renew your accommodation or ticket?

If a travel date passes, the visa is not automatically rejected; the consulate may issue it with a later start date or request updated travel plans. She should contact the French Consulate/Embassy to inform them of the delay and ask for guidance on submitting new flight and accommodation details.

Do Not Buy New Tickets Yet: Wait to hear from the embassy. If a visa is approved, the authorities can adjust the start date.
Contact the Embassy: Proactively email or call the visa processing center to inform them your travel date has passed, and you are waiting on a decision. Ask if a revised itinerary is required.
Prepare New Documents: If asked, be prepared to submit updated, non-confirmed hotel reservations and a new travel itinerary.
Check Visa Type: If the visa was for a specific, time-sensitive event that has already passed, there is a higher chance of a negative outcome, but communicating to the embassy can sometimes resolve this.
