That is what you might think, Naigeerians do not go to hospitals because it is expensive so they manage their illnesses at home or go to their pastors and churches for healing, that is why there are more sick people in Naigeerian churches than in hospitals

He was a strong critic of the West but I was surprised he didn't relocate to Saudi, Iran, Pakistan or China

Again if I follow this argument , the explanation is that you guys don't allow people to grow old in Nigeria again.

Once you notice any hint of old age the next thing is to extinguish the person. And govt don't care either that people will grow old someday and we need care.

Well, over 50% of them won't be in the UK for starters, if we developed this nation in all aspects.

A doctor in the UK doesn't fear for his life everyday he goes out to work... Nor does he get harassed regularly by law enforcement or the military.

I know Japarians that relocated solely for the sake of safety.

Money that is actually hard to save abroad with their high costs of living and huge tax brackets.

What many immigrants can be grateful for include:

Better standards of living compared to their 3rd world nations

Far less concerns about safety and security

Better and stronger citizenship especially a passport that is not disrespected anywhere in the world.

People leave behind better and more respectable businesses and incomes here for these.

They never do lol. Even the ones in Pakistan, Iran etc still relocate to Europe and North America.

To give perspective, this question should be asked to supplement the initial question;
How many universities does each country have relative to the population...

Nigeria: between 300-320 Uni's

UK: Between 160 - 180 Uni's

Now divide those numbers by the population of each country and see the potential of each country in churning out university trained Doctors... it's that simple.

Population does not determine many things! In fact, population could become a problem to a country like Nigeria with so much indiscipline, lawlessness, illiteracy, ignorance, foolishness, corruption, empty boastful talk, diseases, poor human development index etc.

The economy, lack of electricity and good facilities are driving them out.
