I'll do you one better I'm too lazy to start looking for links to a 10 year old article.

During the 2015 Iran-Nigeria tensions, Ali Larijani, who was the Iranian Parliament Speaker at the time, made several strong statements. He condemned the military crackdown on Shia Muslims in Zaria, describing it as a "pre-planned plot" orchestrated by Israel to create divisions within Islam .

Here are the specific actions and remarks he made:

· Direct Letter to Nigeria: He wrote to Speaker Yakubu Dogara, formally condemning the "tragic incident" and the "dreadful attack" on Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky .
· Accusation of a "Zionist Plot": He stated that the event was a "well-calculated plot" aimed at dividing Muslims, which he claimed served the "illegitimate interests of the Zionist regime of Israel" .
· Specific Demands: He called for the immediate release of El-Zakzaky, access to medical treatment for the injured, and the punishment of those responsible for the violence .

Interestingly, while Larijani was vocal publicly, he also mentioned internally that "some measures are being taken" regarding the crisis, though he did not elaborate on what those measures were .

Would you like to know more about the international reactions to this incident?

Omo, e be like the blocking of a thing no dey last long. Cos why I am seeing gazebo's postings. The only person I have ever blocked on NL.

Even the link the stupid fellow shared agreed with your sentiments. The weapons were transiting through Nigeria due to a UN arms embargo on Iran. Countries have been known to do this to bypass sanctions. Even Nigeria did it in South Africa (2014) after the foolish Obama sanctioned us while we were dealing with Boko Haram at its strongest.

And please stop replying to all light abi na all darkness. That one's MO is to spread outright falsehood.
And how did you know the weapons were just transiting? Like were they going to Iran or going out of Iran . Transiting to whothen

Because investigations then came to the conclusion that those weapons were meant for terrorist groups in West Africa.

Nigeria seized those weapons.

First of All Obama did not sanction Nigeria in the way you think he just refused to sell American weapons to Nigeria we were free to get weapons from anywhere that was willing to sell.

And the south African issue it was money for arms procurement that was sized not because of any sanction but because it wasn't declared they thought it was an illegal arms purchase until Nigeria came out to say it was state sanctioned the Nigerians and one Israeli involved were not charged and according to the south Africans the money was realesed back to Nigeria.

Everything here are facts

It is no secret that Iran has sponsored terrorist activities in west Africa not just Nigeria wether through it's proxies or directly.

Do you deny that.

Without Ukraine and Türkiye, Europe will not have an army similar to Russia’s.

⚡Zelensky:

It’s a pity, but we have to recognize that some Americans feel that it’s not such a big price for us—for peace—to leave our territories.

They don’t want to recognize that Putin will lie to them and continue the occupation even after such steps.

I think that is the biggest problem: we don’t trust Putin, but they do.

Ukraine has repeatedly stated that we are ready for symmetrical steps. We proposed a ceasefire during the Easter holidays this year and will act accordingly.

People need an Easter free from threats and real movement toward peace, and Russia has a chance not to return to strikes after Easter as well.

⚡Israeli air strike targets ambulances and firetrucks in southern Lebanon.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reports that several ambulances and firetrucks have been targeted in an Israeli air strike on the town of Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain in southern Lebanon.

We’ve been reporting that the Israeli military has been threatening to target ambulances in Lebanon, accusing Hezbollah of making “extensive military use” of them, without providing evidence to support the claims.

This is an event in Nigeria, why can’t you give us a link of an investigative journalist or intelligence services talking about this. This shouldn’t be difficult.

Haha. Bros abeg o. You can lie about what’s happening in another country but openly lying about what happened right here is a new low from you.

The Shiites were never armed and did not exchange any gunfire with the army. It was a one-way massacre with the army doing the killings and the Shiites mounting the casualties.
If that incident that happened to shiites had happened to Sunni, this country will not rest again.

I know comprehension is difficult for you read again and point out where I said they were armed.

I said Iran sent weapons to arm them which was the truth you didn't deny that at least. The weapons never got to them security operatives got to the weapon first.

So there you have it . I know comprehension disability is the norm for you but try dey understand before you quote.
How una take dey reason sef?

Iran send them guns but it didn't get to them.

So since it didn't get them, how did you know it's for them and how did you know it's from iran.

Na this kind one una dey believe Nigeria security operatives

Oga, if Iran wants Nigerian shiites to be armed, ceasing the weapon won't stop them

My brother, we might disagree but I don't post falsehood. The weapons were destined for the Gambia, who were also sanctioned at the time. The shipments was basically two sanctioned countries trying to evade sanctions.

How did I know the weapons were just transiting? Because it was. All parties involved, including Nigeria knew it was. Nigeria was mandated to take actions because it's a UN sanction and we are part of the UN.

We are talking 2010 here, not 2015 like all darkness posted.

Fact is, the weapons were shipped to Lagos under false declarations.. They have already bypassed lagos customs and got to a warehouse in Lagos. They were caught after attempting to re-export it. We'll both agree that if they were destined for Nigeria, there will be no attempts to export it again.

When the Nigerian court in Lagos gave judgement, it was based on them failing to give a satisfactory account of the destination of the weapons. Why are you trying so hard to force people to believe it was going to Gambia. How hard should it be for a whole IRGC officer to be unable to give satisfactory account of the destination of the weapons

Where is your source?

This is the report of the final conviction and end of the investigation and trial. Where is your own judgement that said the destination was not Gambia?

I don't know how many times you want IRGC and Iran to say it was destined for the Gambia. It has already passed through Lagos. If it was destined for Nigeria. They wouldn't try to export it out.

No one is disputing it was an illegal arms shipment.

Therefore we must believe her because as the wife of a former president, she is supposed to know the secrets of her country.
I have never seen a larger congregation of simpletons than on this thread.
I have always maintained that this guy's views are based on mere suspicion. And thank God he mentioned that they are contained in classified documents he claims will never see light. Simple, whether those documents you are talking about exist or not, nobody knows.
For devil's sake, I can also claim Russia has classified documents pointing to them creating Boko Haram. That is how stupid it sounds when you claim your evidence cannot be seen because they are classified.
Classified but he knows 🤣🤣🤣

Classic anything that portrays truth has to be western lies.

The last paragraph is funny coming from you like you're literally the king of unverified nonsense here.

Fact remains Iran shipped weapons to Nigeria.

And that's not a he only time Iran is linked to terrorism in Nigeria.

Ok now I see the problem. You understand stocks are low but you think they can increase production immediately.

This is not true. To increase production you have to expand the factory floor with new equipment and structure. You also need skilled workers and all this can take about two years. Most of the factories are not automated so there is a shortage of skilled labour. Even if they want to automate now, it will take time.

This is why I keep saying I don’t know what’s worse 🤡🤡 here or there.

It took the Iran war for 🤡🤡 in pentagon to understand shock and awe only works for insurgents. They are trying to correct this with the 2027 budget. If they didn’t get the ceasefire they would have ran out of ammunition and the minimum time for any increased production is 1-2 years.

The relationship is, get the ceasefire in 2026 and fix the problem in 2027.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ceasefire means end of war abi!!

Nigeria said the artillery rockets and other weapons, found at a Lagos port last month in shipping containers labelled as building supplies, originated in Iran and may have been destined for Nigerian politicians intending violence if they lose in 2011 elections.

During this issue with Iran then a lot of Nigerians were convinced that those weapons were meant to be used in Nigeria. Hence everyone involved were charged and sentenced the Iranian spent more than 3 years in a Nigerian jail.

We didn't buy the Gambia bullshit then.

Gambia even denied this that they bought weapons from Iran they even went as far expelling the Iranian ambassador.

Senegal themselves recalled their ambassador from Iran and expelled the Iranian ambassador reason Iran was fostering insecurity in the region this was also during this debacle.

Let me assume that okay the weapon was to go to the Gambia who was it meant for in Gambia since the government denied it's involvement.

Everyone knows the Gambia story was a cover story!! The Gambia were quick to deny they had bought weapons from Iran!!!

To answer your question it was meant for freedom fighters aka resistance groups in Gambia!!🤣🤣🤣
