The World Bank is just a lending institution.
It is not an expert on Nigeria's economic affairs.

It matters though! Who is in charge determine if the government is willing to do the needful. So it does matter who is in charge.

There is still inflation, prices are still rising, what FG is cunningly celebrating is a slow down in the rate at which prices are rising. That’s what they’re using to deceive folks like you. I am calling out their BS.

In cost-push inflation, inflation still exists, but demand affects the rate of inflation. Prices still continue to rise, but weak purchasing power slows down how fast they increase.

So there is still inflation (cost-push), but demand (weak purchasing power) is slowing the rate of inflation down.

We are getting to 100%,so if someone earns 1m is still a beggar and can't get basic amenities. APC must be flushed out

This is another issue I would always have with Obidients till they change, why are you making me out to be a President Tinubu supporter.

President Tinubu, Atiku and the other one whose influence is now seriously waning, Peter Obí, are all part of a useless political class that can't do much for the people. I have repeated this over and over again.

All western dominated international organisations are propaganda spreading vermins that should be eliminated from our country and continent.

This your long explanation is not the issue. You said that the general rate of inflation went down because of weak purchasing power. I disagreed. Research on Nigerian inflation history without focusing on any particular regime. The traditional cause has in most cases been cost-push.


This is why much of our monetary policy tools to fight inflation has been ineffective. Next time when you want to reply to a comment read very well the tone. Is it pure technical or defence of political entity? I wasn't defending the person that you hated so much. I was just expressing technical knowledge.
