Every village in Imo State has an igwe thanks to the autonomous community arrangement. All they do is cause trouble and kiss up to the state government. What kind of igwe has been abroad since and abandoned his community? Who has been managing the affairs of the community? Of course such persons wouldn't want the igwe back alive because of fringe benefits that comes with such communal power. Not that I condone what happened to him, but they need to get rid of Imo State style of igweship. Every political charlatan must not be an igwe.
