You and I know that when big games like the forth coming one against city comes up, based on past experiences, Arteta will either go ultra defensive and adopt the " it is better to draw and not lose than attacking the opponent even when the opponent is vulnerable. Check his past matches against PEP.

That Arsenal that have won with funny corner kicks and funny set pieces is the better team is quite debatable. The jury is out on that.

If Arteta is serious about salvaging anything this season,he needs to drop Zubi for either norgaard or MLS, but I doubt if that will happen ,the only player Arteta trust in that position is merino but he is injured.
And he need to forget those crappy wingers we have now, he needs to play Eze and Odegaard as an inverted wingers (hybrid 10 and , odegaard to help with the press and Eze for the creative responsibility.Then pair gyokeres with Gabriel Jesus upfront or use havertz as a supporting striker(SS). WE just have to go all out at this stage, playing safe is not working for us .

Yes, teams like Aston Villa and AFC Bournemouth can make life difficult — nobody is denying that. But assuming “they will definitely drop points” is where fans often get it wrong. In reality, these so-called smaller teams are inconsistent in consistency themselves. One week they look unstoppable, the next they drop points in games you’d expect them to control.

On the idea that City were “not special,” I disagree. Good teams don’t have to be spectacular every match — they have to be efficient. City are masters at managing games, controlling phases, and winning even when they’re not at their flashy best.

And with respect to Liam Rosenior, I don’t think it’s fair to reduce it to fear costing the game. Sometimes it’s just structural gaps, squad depth differences, or the opponent executing their plan better. Calling it fear simplifies a very tactical game too much.

At this stage of a title race, it’s not about who looks better on the day — it’s about who accumulates points under pressure. And City have proven repeatedly they know how to do exactly that.
