It's common knowledge Brussels has been working tirelessly over the last decade to clamp down on right wing or far right movements. These nationalist movements or parties are against Brussels Open border policies ( anti-immigration ), they support a strong national defense and traditional social values.

The Republican party ( which JD Vance is a member of ) is a right wing party. Technically, both Orban and Vance belong to the same political spectrum, they share the same ideologies.
