You and I know that mainstream Europe has accorded and has continued to accord moral and military support for Israel in its long apartheid history against the Palestinians. You have to discriminate between European leaders hatred for netanyahu and their outright rejection of israels Zionist designs. Open disdain for netanyahu has nothing to do with lack of moral support for israels attricious history against Arab Palestinians. This is because netanyahu will eventually go, but Zionism will not, unless Europe takes a stand by collectively treating Israel as a pariah.

Now Hungary will no longer veto all the financial and economic plans the EU has for Ukraine. In fact, it was reported last week that Putin is scared to death about the election, since Orban has been his greatest asset and supporter in the EU. Now Putin leverage in Eu is severally reduced.

The trip was a last minute contraption to salvage the impending loss to come. Not necessarily a symbol of stronger affinity than Putin. He knows Putin is largely unpopular amidst eurocentriic Hungarian but perhaps America 's influence might help sway voters. I believe Orban initiated the trip and not the other way round.
