Roland17:See scummies losing 2 nil but still attacking The way it's going they can equalise in the second half the belief is there, but we are so stingy with conceding we don't even know how to attack properly |

Fkforyou:I've always said Pep's team is the metric. If we want to outrank them then we need to do whatever they're doing better or just ensure we never drop points to teams they drop points to. Preference go kee Arteta if e no fix up. I hate to say this but this man fit start Kai in 10 vs City. The way city went into the January window was crazy. If we got 2 buys, we won't be here right now. But there's no guarantee too that if we got the buys, confusion no go catch dem too. That risky at the back and cautious upfront levels don mentally affect everybody as it stands. Question is Can Arteta shift the risk taking further up the pitch and with personnel too? |

MSGAMBLE9:i have this flicker of hope that we would come out of etihad without a loss. I saw Zubimendi's apology post, thank God he knows the gravity of his mistake on Saturday and accepted responsibility. It's left to see how he and the rest of the team react on Wednesday and sunday. 4 league losses should be the maximum number if we are serious about epl trophy, anymore loss would be a big jeopardy. If we can avoid a defeat to City, then 15 out of 18 possible point is enough to win the league. |

Roland17:A good coach will change tactics like two or three times a season. Pep does that all the time and that's why his end of season is usually unbeatable. Maintaining the same tactics all year, one would eventually get found out as it is now with us. Secondly, Arteta mismanaged his players. He had the depth but didn't use it. He waited until Saka and Odegaard got injured before he started trying out their backups. Same thing with Rice and Zubi. That's why Nwaneri chose to leave despite the prospects of being part of a title winning team. Enrique always keeps his best players fresh for the end of season games which are more critical I look at how disjointed and jaded our squad is and feel really bad. |

Spy360:You have my respect Spy despite being an advocate for Arteta. This thing is a common sense and I wonder why this is difficult for Arteta to learn. Always learn in the hard way and thereby jeopardise his initial hardwork. Anyway, if he fails to win any of the two available trophy he should just leave abeg. |

daveP:Areteta prefers players that aren't a threat to his ego. Yes, you might have personality but not so much that it threatens him. Its not entirely a bad thing..o, its just that you need players to have a mind of their own. We currently have few leaders in the team. Everyone wants to align with him and play to his instructions. When things go bad, no one to grab the game by scruff of the neck. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 11:15am On Apr 14 |
germaphobe:That apology is from a parody account..o That Wednesday fixture is supposed to give us a mental and emotional reset before the man city game. Also, I want the coach to back off the team for now, let the guys decide if they want to write their name in history or not. |

bolu96:Spy can be annoying but I respect some of his takes. But I am still waiting for his stance on Arteta by end of the season. (Him and Mostob) If no be say Arteta fall him hands, baba made the call that would/should be winning the league by Nov/Dec by 9 points or so. Tell me if that has not been the case all this while. |

For this tactic stuff, i actually predicted such a day will come if we don't have plan A, B and C in the bag to confuse opponents. Just on game from Pep and suddenly there's mental flux.to make us know that coach carry a large % of this problem Just swap out Arteta with 3-4 managers and tell me if they won't be fiery than we currently are Luis Enrique Andoni Iraola Cesc Fabregas Maresca 3/4 will offer some freedom currently not seen this season 2/4 will fill up the midfield creativity issues in 1st season, breaking the bank if they had to 2/4 will play to strength of the current squad 1/4 will find like for like replacement for Xhaka, Partey and Odegaard 2/4 will turn Saka and Nelli to double figures goals, without stripping them of their trademark strengths. Backpasses will disappear with 3/4 of them. We are in a mental fix right now. Man City game will decide if we'll get that title. Even if we end up clinching the EPL and/or UCL, a lot need to change with our managers tactical and squad management |

daveP:You need to calm down while analysing. The only good manager there is Henrique. I'm sure you mentioned Andoni because his team beat us on Saturday. Same way Chelsea fans believed Potter was the next best thing after Alex Ferguson due to his performance at Brighton. There was a time De Zerbi's name was circulating here. Cesc and Enzo will likely go Arteta way. They're rookies. League is a marathon. Football dey sweet till second half of the season beckons. |

You need to care bro. You need to be interested. You need to take offence. This is one of the things you can draw energy from. |

Fkforyou:the coach back off?, I don't understand. Our first trophy wasn't meant to come as a hand out to us, we have to bleed for it and show character development and maturity. It was always going to be hard and that's where Arteta and his boss shows what they are made of. This loss should open their eyes, if they go on to win the league, the respect would be great because they showed strength. We can only hope Arteta does better and think correctly going forward. |

germaphobe:He needs to ease off with tactical and information overload and let the players express themselves and impose their personalities during games. I agree, winning cancels disrespect and no one is saying is going to be easy, but atleast show grit and determination. It’s something that the whole world can see if it is there and not that lackluster performance against Bournemouth we witnessed over the weekend. |

mostob:Don't get me wrong sha As for Andoni, yesterday wasn't my 1st time noticing his tactical acumen. I've watched the games he gave top 6 clubs problems, how he transformed his boys sotey they attract top buyers now from Huijsen, senesi, semenyo and all. As for Cesc, he's doing it with freedom not seen with Arteta plus some basic approach to football from Barclays era, Cesc has brought that into his current team. I've watched some games to know he's great at this. Na from early days person dey see who fit ho marathon and that's why Lampard too is about to return to top flight as well. Las las, Coachie don start, i believe he can spin this around. Na him dey do 4-0, 5-1 without full xi. He should be able to enact such again for next dozen games. |

Fkforyou:Lookman na maestro. I knew defensive duties is why he was largely anonymous in the 1st leg. His defensive haram manager unleashed him this time and it was the final nail in everything. Its good to have a player that can interpret what you love on the pitch. It's also good to know when to unleash the drogons and allow your head chop breeze fom overthinking. Barca might just do Ansu Fati 2.0 with Yamal of they don't spend and build well |

mostob:Spot on In as much as we want the best for the club, we must try not to be emotional about it. Even Cesc cannot do better than Arteta. In fact, Arteta's problem is himself. He needs to get out of his own head. It he succeeds in doing that, even Enrique will not near him. Enrique that is avoiding PL like plague I won't respect any coach that hasn't coached a team in PL. That's why I take Pep as the vgod of coaching |
