“I’m building something structured around executive mobility services. Happy to discuss it privately with anyone who’s looking to fund or plug into a viable idea.

It can be game or life
It is game when you have other income sources but want to learn human behaviour and trust. It is life when you depend on it to survive.
If it is game for you, please go ahead. Most failures recorded were from people who it is life to
Few hints
Would be driver/operator must not have a large family otherwise the whole money will go for family maintenance. A family of not more than three is manageable. Better still if his wife is gainfully engaged and children grown up
Offered your driver unlimited alcohol of his choice during the engagement period. Run if he shows no restraint
Discuss women. If he shows no discipline towards them please don't engage him
Find out his views on football betting and gambling . Your money may be gambled away
What type of apartment does he stay in. He will renew his rent from your business proceeds
Has he driven commercial vehicle before. Why did he quit. The challenges have not gone away, he will quit again. If he has not done commercial driving he will learn on the job with your vehicle.

So many boxes to tick if you are to succeed

Which business would you recommend?
Henix:
Yes, destiny are never the same. I actually didn't condemn your business, neither did I say that I didn't make something out of it when I did the business as a student. I only said that if you are business inclined, that there are better business with better prospects you would have done with that money, with peace of mind.

Transport business gave me my first real life business experience as an ambitious young boy, but after I finished my NYSC and relocated to Lagos, I always laugh whenever I remember my transport business days. I did it as a result of my limited business idea back then. I can't imagine myself doing such now.

Talking about having a manager, that is the basic aspect of the business na, except when the business owner is equally a driver himself. I see it as lazy people business, or people with no business idea.

About not knowing how much U are generating from the drivers, I don't know ur state, but it's almost impossible for you to recoup the money you invested on a motorcycle within 7 months, through a driver.

Wishing you all the best in your business

Ur Mum is absolutely right. I want to beg you in the name of God or whatever you believe in, do not attempt to buy keke, okada or korope for someone to do daily deliver for u, you will regret it. U can do hire purchase and make sure there's a legal agreement in it. Transporters are extremely wicked when it comes to delivery. They would only ne faithful for just one week and the next week, they would start misbehaving. Ever since I bought my Korope since 2021 as a side hustle, I drive it only at Night cos I go to the office in yhe morning's. I have never given it to any idiot to be driving or do delivery for me. My korope is still in a good condition, the engine has never been dropped once. I guve it a good maintenance and that's y it's still very useful till date. Also, I make at least, over 10k on a daily basis every night. Sometimes, I might not make up to that amount sha if there are no passengers. For Lagos, people no dey sleep o cos u go still see commuters coming from the Island going home at night. Na late hour I dey do most times till maybe 11 or 12 midnight.
Thanks for sharing your experience, so you means I can do the business and pay back my borrowed 5million in 16 month running it myself and the korope will still be good.
I need your advice.

I have practical experience in the transport and logistics business through running Guru Logistics. My experience covers delivery operations, managing riders, customer service, vehicle and rider coordination, last-mile delivery, warehousing, and building systems that help businesses move goods efficiently.

One thing I’ve learned is that transport is not just about moving from point A to B. Reliability, speed, proper communication, and good management are what truly build a successful transport business.
