I honestly don't know. But probably.

The High Court in Ikeja, for example, has a confirmation-of-name service. The person in the forum who did their visa successfully using an Affidavit used a High Court. This is why I asked.

Onuchijioke:
I don't get,is there any court that their affidavit is not accepted?
Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Onuchijioke: 5:55pm On Apr 12
I know nothing about affidavits,I got it in my state which is not Lagos.

They sent me an email asking for further documentation, itemizing documents I should send for identity,I packed almost all and sent like school card, voters card etc,at the end it didn't work.

Sorry. Just redo an affidavit from Ikeja High Court. That’s if you can still reapply. I’m not saying there’s something special with using theirs, but your approach is clearly not working.

Hello everyone,

I noticed some discussion regarding affidavits. Please be aware that the High Court now has a digital platform where you can fill in your details and generate your affidavit online (E-affidavit).
I feel this makes it much easier for the embassy to verify because it includes a barcode.

If you choose to go to the High Court in person, be wary of the agents at the gate; they often make mistakes, and your information might not be officially entered into the court system.

If you prefer a physical paper affidavit, please double-check the following:

1. Heading and Purpose: Ensure the reason (e.g., name correction) is stated correctly.
2. Details: Verify your name, the date, and the time.
3. Authentication: Ensure it has an official stamp and signature.
4. Proof: Always ask for an official receipt or remita with a reference number.

charlesklaus:
Was the affidavit from a high court?

Someone on the forum has used an affidavit without any issue.

Sorry about your experience bro, don't give up, follow them up and try to clarify all the blockades.

BTW the further documents request email you received, was it after your interview?

After interview
Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Onuchijioke: 9:52am On Apr 14
The decision is made and no follow-up option available.

I can now recall, the lady that interviewed me was asking me of this,it sounded like Greek to me.I was basically lost at that moment because I haven't heard that in my wildest imagination. The lady started shouting me down instead of explaining,at a point I said no not really knowing what she was saying. She later said it looks like you don't do it in your state.I was really disappointed with that lady, zero manners.

I also did affidavit and police extract for my waec certificate,do I need to redo them,is confusing now.
I don't understand while digital will make analog invalid without any official statement. Why doing analog since it's invalid,I feel extorted.

Some persons here have had their application revisited after decision has been initially made and they eventually got the visa after all. Please on what date did you had your interview? Mine was 18th of last month.

Okay, Thanks. You should know that most of the follow-ups I noticed in the forum were via email, not the application portal.

You don't need to be confused both are valid.

I also submitted both digital and analog affidavits during my interview for different purposes because I discovered about the digital option later and also went with receipts just to be on the safer side.

I had to correct my analog affidavit heading and the signature date on different occasions during my preliminary review. I compiled the list of things to look out on affidavit based on the corrections I was requested to make.

I wasn't required to correct any of that,so why was my affidavit that passed preliminary stage thrown out?

Please, I am trying to join the waiting list and I see this message in the screenshot below. Will I still be able to edit my documents and data during the preliminary review?

Those who are already in Germany should give their review pls. Someone told me one would not function well without having B2 in German and also that the people there are not friendly. Is that true?

I live in Germany, and I can tell you that learning the language will definitely make your life and stay here better. It allows you to take advantage of more opportunities.
Regarding Germans not being friendly, I would say that Germans tend to minimize interaction with strangers even when those strangers are other Germans.
These reasons shouldn’t deter you from coming to Germany. I know people who are doing well here without speaking German up to a B2 level or enjoying friendliness .

Hello Vilbray, I just moved into Germany & I agree with you that Germans aren’t that bad too.
But I’ll love to know if you have gotten a job & what are the details of the kind of Jobs(no of work hours, must the job be related to your course of study) one can get to finalize your stay?
Thanks.

I don't know you but I'd be guilty if I don't tell you this. Please and please, do the digital affidavit that has barcode to be scanned for verification. A lot of persons have been denied with the anolog stuff. It's difficult for them to verify it. A stitch in time saves nine.
