A yet-to-be-identified man reportedly jumped off the Third Mainland Bridge in an apparent attempt to end his life, causing panic among commuters and onlookers.

The incident occurred on the busy bridge, which connects Lagos Island to the mainland and is one of the most heavily used routes in the city. Witnesses said the man was seen behaving unusually before climbing over the railing and plunging into the lagoon below.

Why is everything blamed on mental health?Some suicidal folks are dealing with debts and depression.

Some folks are scared of even asking folks that owe them for their money to avoid stories like this - you ask for your money today, the person commits suicide overnight because he or she has no means of paying back, now the guilt follows you around

Nigerians and blacks arent known for suicide baba. Japanese commit suicide not becus of hardship. Nigerians are commiting suicide now becus of hardship. At least everyone rescued said same thing. grin
