Nnewi, the third major city in Anambra state, has unveiled a new look despite the ongoing road construction. Previously, most roads in Nnewi were in a deplorable state until Governor Soludo intervened with the construction of internal roads and dualization of major roads connecting Nnewi to other parts of the state. Upon completion of the roadworks, the installation of streetlights, planting of trees, and road markings will commence.

That is not how you build a walkway oga. See how messy the whole thing looks. You must cover the drain next to the walkway so it becomes a nice wide sidewalk.

If you built that road right, you will even have people going jogging on it. Going for long casual walks of 5 kilometres and back.

Your post is rather pathetic since you are blind not to see the sidewalks on both sidesof the road.

Building a closed gutter requires a central underground system of where the gutters would be channeled to.

you can only achieve that 100% before properties are erected. it is difficult where properties have already been erected and demolitions must occur if you want to achieve that.

It is by far better than Enugu.

500 gallons of water go for N20k. Multiply by 4 in a month, that's N80k. By extrapolation, that's N960k in a year on water alone. Why? Because the governor believes that clean and accessible water is the least of his worries. Yet they prance around like Enugu is Abuja even though the red muddy soil will have residents looking like they went tomb-raiding at night.

But then, considering where it was before Peter Mba, one can understand the accolades being that he moved the town from 16th Century to 17th Century but not anywhere near 20th Century. 21st Century is a stretch. EEDC? The worst of all.

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”
