Stephen0mozzy:As a CIT student, what was your favourite and dreaded course? Favorite was Operations Research, dreaded was Introduction to OOP. |

illicit:Definitely, only average and below average students would come to you for lectures cos I don't see any reason why an above average student would need extra help. It's terrible, however, that you mention the lecturing of certain students as a yardstick for all NOUN students. Arguably, NOUN is the only university in Nigeria where you CANNOT BRIBE a lecturer for grades, unlike most of the glorified full-time schools. I have several degrees both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and I was fortunate to have passed through NOUN and I can attest to the level of academic independence the school nurtures in their students. |

TheStoriesOfMan:I hated (with dread 😅) most of the maths and physics courses from 300lvl. Especially PHY 308 or something about Electronics - wrote it twice man. Your favourite was Operations Research? That particular course had a lot of myths in my time, it was said to be a course with the highest carry over rate in the department, I guess I passed because of fear and panic study🤣. Generally, all CIT courses were up my alley. |

NOUN is the best university in Nigeria cos no lecturer to sort out. If you no read, you go fail woefully. Beautiful girls when no read books dey fail anyhow. If you see the sitting arrangements during exam, your mind go dey. Although I did only my MSC there at Benin study centre |

Shellsploit:l disagree with you ooooooooo, NOUN is actually a good University and well recognized in the Western world. As a matter of fact, most Universities abroad also operate Open Universities like NOUN I live in the West and l have taken different programs in other Western countries as well My friends and colleagues are doing the same thing One of my colleagues in Canada was doing a Phd program in the USA, another one in Canada did a program in the UK , and all the degrees/ PhD or Master's degree done outside of your current country of residence is recognized by your host country NOUN Degrees are globally recognized ooooooooo 😂 |

illicit:This again shows you clearly know nothing about NOUN. Study centres are not lecture venues. NOUN students do not receive lectures anywhere. |

This statistics might not be correct, there are so many students whose names are not on the graduating list, without having any outstanding course, including someone close to me. She was told to send message to the administrative office in Abuja for inclusion but she is yet to get response from them. |

DemightyPrince:No reason for us to contact each other sir. Do this instead 👇🏽 👇🏽 👇🏽 Visit their official website (nou.edu.ng), locate your nearest study center and begin your application. It's as easy as ABC. |

shortgun:Don't mind the guy. He's just a troll trying to make himself feel better about his own academic condition. He claimed to have lectured NOUN students but doesn't even know how study centers work. This is how liars are caught. 😂😂😂 |
| Re: 57 Make First Class As NOUN Graduates 24,575 Students by TyroneP(m): 1:56pm On Apr 16 |
illicit:You lied. You may have facilitated a specific group privately (maybe personal consultation with you). That doesn't mean you have a statistics of the academic performance of over 600,000 NOUN students in the world. |

Stephen0mozzy:Thank you for the detailed explanation. I am looking at the idea of asking my cousin to apply for ML/AI program, online ML/AI program abroad is damn too expensive. Though, he is abroad working but I thought of maybe he can combine it with his job. With the clause that he has to be physically present for the exam, that might be a tough one. |
| Re: 57 Make First Class As NOUN Graduates 24,575 Students by Stephen0mozzy: 8:03pm On Apr 16 |
dettolgel:Last I checked, NOUN did virtual exams, so physical presence while not completely necessary for exams might be necessary for some other things. Hmm for a course like AI/ML I wouldn't advise for such a course in any distance learning institution - unless you're already practicing and just want to have an institutional credential. |
| Re: 57 Make First Class As NOUN Graduates 24,575 Students by dettolgel: 8:35pm On Apr 16 |
Stephen0mozzy:It is more of the credential than the skill. I think the credential should be more useful than a bootcamp. Most bootcamps are online these days |
