I have taken good time to study my street/community and I discovered that the number of divorcees is like 3 out of every 5 adults around me. And they are mostly young individuals of the younger generation.

I would be glad to hear from you on what entails around you and what you infer to be responsible for this happening in the new generation of couples.

Most preferably, divorcees in the house are urged to make more meaningful and helpful contributions to this topic.

What do you children do with these debates past stroking your egos? I’m beginning to believe these are moderator accounts farming for engagement. The pattern is super obvious now.

People of the new generation divorce easily because life is too hard to stick with a wrong choice for a partner. Older generations made mistakes too. Everyone was quick to shame the next person for chickening out of a hellish marriage. Now, everybody is feeling the brunt of bad governance equally. Neighbours and relatives are busy struggling to even look your way if you decide that your spouse is a burden.

I believe one of the reasons why the divorce rate is higher among the younger ones has to do with them having realized earlier in life, probably from watching their own parents suffer needlessly in the name of marriage that it is a thousand times better to choose peace of mind over self-imposed suffering. 🥱🥱

Hmmmmm. Because it is not mandatory to still stay in a relationship or marriage whenone or both parties are unhappy in it.
