BATified2023:You are right. But my question is, what have Yorubas benefited that their man was number 2 or even number one now? |

BlackMenDumb:it's none of your business At least they r actively involved in politicking If I may ask u too, y are some people willing to burn this country down cos their own was rejected at d poll? Is there anything special about presidency? |

Irony1:It's not about all the goodies. It's about sacrifice a better Nigeria in future. Our interest has always been a stable country with strong institutions and long term policies that will prosper the nation irrespective of present or immediate hardship it might bring, because the rots and decadence of the GEJ, Buhari period had killed the progress OBJ time and now, present Govt has to fix it for a better tomorrow. It's not about stomach infrastructure, all of this you may not grasp at all, but I understand. We are used to sharing the country with people who lack understanding and only care about about importation of goods and cry that naira is weak. |

BATified2023:Actively involved in politicking? Is there is a region or ethnic group in Nigeria that doesn't have politicians politicking? It's not exclusive to Yoruba people. People willing to burn the country down? You mean Fulani terrorists and Bandits kidnapping people in numbers and killing military generals? As far as I know it's Tinubu that freed 700 terrorists, so it's him that that the burden of security rests on, not who lost election. Tinubu can arrest and prosecute spoilers, why is he not doing it? I guess you won't be able to defend this aside from either throwing insults or similar stuffs |

BATified2023:The reason I ask is that you are parroting the same rhetorics that the few minority have used over the century to subjugate the poor majority. GEJ did not sideline the Yorubas more than he sidelined the Igbos or Hausa. If you say that GEJ sidelined the Yoruba political elite more than he did the Hausa or Igbo political elites that I wouldn't argue. In the same vein, Buhara did not sideline the Yorubas or Igbos more than he did the average Hausa man. However, if you said that he sidelined the Igbo politicians more than he did the Hausa or Yoruba politicians that I would not discredit. Tinubu today is not treating the average Yoruba better than he is doing to the average Igbo or Hausa on the street. But if you tell me that he is treating the Yoruba political elites better than he is treating the Hausa and Igbo political elite, that I will concur to. Which brings me to my message, looking at the history of Nigeria, it has never been about the tribal or religious affiliation of the common man on the street but of those that are to share in looting the country. The common man in Ekiti states is facing the same economic fate, as the commom man in Abia or Katsina. The only people that are faring better, are the political elites from the SW when you pair them against their counterpart in the SE or NW or NE. So if you are not one of those benefitting from sitting at the table where our national treasure are being mismanaged, I find it hard to understand why you would think it is a tribal issue rather the elite vs the poor? |

Macphenson:It is just like saying Awo betrayed Zik and stopped him from becoming the first premier of the West when they were not even in the same party. Tinubu was not in the PDP and he should not have been expected to work with them to make anybody speaker whether the person is Yoruba or not. The PDP can not install a speaker on their own despite controlling the house?. Then GEJ could have found other ways to compensate the Yoruba with other posts given that they are around thirty percent of the country's population but there were virtually no Yoruba on his team. If this country were being run by taxes the Yoruba will not agree to less than forty percent of the positions. All of you should join hands together to seek the dissolution of the country instead of the unproductive going back and forth |

This doesn't mean anything, it might be a routine meeting with all political parties in preparation for the 2027 general election. Except you have an insider who can give you a genuine information. My brother, all the evils things about election in Nigeria are done in the odd hours. |

saintkel:oga keep quiet Nigerians have always prefer past government and that's the norms since 99 Many prefer obj tenure to yaradua tenure Many prefer yaradua tenure to Jonathan tenure Many prefer Jonathan to buhari Many now prefer buhari to tinubu Same way many will still praise tinubu when the government is over Its a very normal thing in Nigeria What many of u uninformed critics don't consider is our population explosion and many doing pass their boundaries A man on 60k salary with 2 wives and 6 children will also come here to blame the government Someone who earns 200k and rents house of 600k will also blame the government when it's time to pay the next rent |

Macphenson:You're the one parroting stupid lies. How dishonest of you. In 2011; out of the 360 seats in the House of Representatives, the PDP government of Jonathan had 203 seats. The rest 157 seats was spread among the oppositions. ACN had 69 seats, CPC 38, ANPP 28, LP 8, APGA 7, Accord 5, DPP and PPN with 1 seat each respectively. Even if the oppositions unite to elect one of their own as the speaker, tell us how could they have pulled that off when their total seats 157 is less than Jonathan's PDP 203? Let's be realistic, if Jonathan's PDP were really serious about giving the speaker to a Yorùbá person in PDP, what's stopping them from doing so despite their numbers? |

Occurstaem:Why didn't Tinubu support a Yoruba person to be the speaker, why did he support a northerner since a Yoruba person is in power knowing it will be in the best interest of Yorubas? You guys are pathetic. |
| Re: Man Spots Tinubu's "Renewed Hope' Bus & Signpost At INEC Office In Rivers by Occurstaem(m): 11:26am On Apr 18 |
Macphenson:You're a whole lot more pathetic than I had thought. Be realistic, who is Tinubu if Jonathan's PDP were really serious about giving the speaker to a Yorùbá person in PDP, what's stopping them from doing so despite their numbers, PDP 203 seats as against the oppositions 157 seats? |
